DIFFICULTY WITH UPLOADING GAME.

Hello all, I'm new to these forums and am attempting to upload the game I've just finished, Quod (difficult puzzle adventure game) to the site. However, the size of the zip file I exported from RPG Maker VX Ace is 762 MB. The maximum download size for submissions is 450 MB. Is there anyway to compress my game further without deleting some of the files?
Also, I've play tested my game many times, but in the unfortunate scenario that a player encounters a bug, what is the protocol for re-uploading an updated game?
Thank you.

With files of that size I believe you can have it point to an outside link, like a free file hosting site such as mediafire. As for bug reports, you could set up a page on the game profile specifically dealing with them, and then it would be a matter of re-uploading the project to your host site. This is all conjecture until someone with a better understanding comes along ha ha.

I just have to say that I wouldn't download your game if it is over 700mb.
Yes, the 450mb limit is a hard limit set in the configuration of the server. With regular downloads, you can update the download file by editing it. Since you will have to host your file elsewhere, you will have to update the file there in whatever manner it allows you to (and if needed, you can update the Download here on RMN by updating the link URL).
Dare I ask what is making the download so bloated?
Thanks everyone for your input.
I have 263 .PNG picture files for events which you can examine, 4 are quite large, ~26 MB. I also have 237 SE files because my game is fully voice acted. So the character narrates every text for every description for every event. Unnecessary, but it does give the game a personal feel.

When you have limited bandwidth per month and 2 roommates who stream every day, every mb counts.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Voice acting would do it, yeah.
It's tempting to express my vehement hatred towards voice acting, but I'll refrai-- oh wait no never mind it's too late I just did.

I would understand if your hatred was targeted towards the large data usage or general amateurism of usual voice acting, but I assure you that this "text-to-speech" voice acting is appropriate, comical, and fitting for my "Robot" character.

wait shit wait hold on
the player plays as a robot and the entire game is voiced in text-to-speech software?
oh god that actually sounds kind of amazing
(yeah it's the amateurism I hate, even in professional games it's a huge problem)

I've converted all of my .wav files to mp3, which reduced the size of my audio folder from 150 MB to 15 MB. So that's an improvement.
