Seeking Graphic Artists for Compensation and Collaboration

Game Summary:
Last Dream II is the sequel to the commercially successful release of Last Dream, the flagship game from the four friends at White Giant RPG Studios, LLC. You can find additional information about Last Dream I at WhiteGiantRPG.com.
Although the first game in the Last Dream Trilogy witnesses the rise and ultimate demise of the immortality-obsessed half-elf General Thanatos, little is known about how the tumultuous land of Terra evolved, nor how and why the powerful ancient Vanir mysteriously disappeared. Last Dream II continues our story on the planet Gaia.
Gaia is composed of seven major continents as well as numerous smaller islands, and the inhabitants of each continent have a unique culture. For example, the inhabitants of the continent Meropis are based upon ancient Greece, and those of Thule are based upon the ancient Norse. Long ago, when the humans of Gaia were still a young race, ancient evils that tortured the humans enigmatically vanished. Since then, humans have developed their civilizations to grand heights not remembering the evils that once lurked on Gaia. In Last Dream II, the player will explore Gaia to reveal more about the ancient Vanir.
Unlike many games, Last Dream II allows the player to choose their party from a myriad of character classes. Last Dream I featured 8 unique character classes (Knight, Monk, Thief, Hunter, Engineer, White Mage, Black Mage, and Gray Mage) and Last Dream II adds 4 new unique classes: Summoner, Berserker, Time Mage, and Lore Master. Furthermore, each character class can be leveled up as the player sees fit through an ability-point system. Some key additions to the Last Dream I system are overdrive skills, dual skills (combining two unique character classes), dual class upgrades for each character class, and an upgraded synthesis system featuring socketed equipment. Whereas Last Dream I featured a turn-based battle system, Last Dream II will transition to a more dynamic active-time battle system.
Recruiting Graphic Artists:
1) The Last Dream development team at White Giant RPG Studios is seeking graphic artists for Last Dream II. We are specifically interested in spriters with expertise creating unique Kaduki character sets for each of our character classes. As mentioned earlier, there are 12 unique character classes, each of which has two possible upgraded classes. Therefore, there are 36 total base and upgrade classes.
2) We would also like to collaborate with a graphic artist skilled in creating Kaduki-style sheets for animated enemy battlers. We plan to use the Thalzon enemy battler set which will be modified to create animated battlers for Last Dream II. There will be 100+ enemy battlers in Last Dream II so we will likely need multiple graphic artists for this position.
Compensation:
White Giant RPG Studios, LLC is a small company and as such, we can only offer modest compensation. However, we are very open to discussing fair payments given our objectives. If you would like to explore this opportunity, send an example of your Kaduki-style sprite artwork conforming to either task (1) or (2) to: info@whitegiantrpg.com. Please also briefly detail your previous experience and your desired compensation level.
Thank you for your interest!

Apparently it costs 2000$ to add a character class? That's fucking hilarious. Most of the games around here are worth tens of thousands of dollars if that's the case. Also, Synthesis isn't 2250$, it's a freeware script.
People like you make me sick.

Not only is $2,000 a pittance stretch goal for offering an entire other class (along with all associated coding and animation), it's already been funded six times over that. So I can't agree with you, Pizza. In fact, I'm more worried that $12,000 isn't enough to sustain an RPG-making studio of 4.
Although I'm not interested in the job, I wish you guys luck.

Keep it down Pizza! The backers shouldn't know that! D: In all seriousness though, it is common along kickstarters to use easily/cheap implemented features to entice more donations.
Saying that, the first last dream didn't look like a $12,000 game? Maybe $500. But I did notice that most of the money is going into last dream 2, so who knows. I do think there needs to be more transparency between developers and the player for sure.
I would of been interested myself, if I didn't have the suspicion of getting screwed over at some point. :(

It's also immoral, and disgusting.
And insulting as a developer.
Guys, we have to make more and better free games so people don't waste time and money with schlock like this.
