ANY POKER "ADDICTS" OUT THERE?

CloseIn all the years I have been coming here, I never thought to talk about my other hobby/addiction/second job: poker. Just curious if there are others out there that really enjoy the game and what type they play. I have heard of a TON of different ways to play, but I am always interested in learning new ways to play.
Also, I am curious to hear about strategies that people may have employed in the past that worked. Right now, I am trying to build a roll so I can comfortably play at higher stakes (I can only play live since I'm in the US, but it's better than nothing).
Just thought I'd throw it out there. Good stories are always good to read, too (first straight/royal flush, bad beats, crazy bluffs, etc.). Looking forward to hearing from all the grinders and rounders out there!

I thinking if they're out there, they're probably in the denial stage of their "addiction" ... I personally thought that ESPN starting to show poker has been the biggest mistake they have made. At least when they show the Scripps National Spelling Bee you are entertained by the really obscure words that nobody uses that they choose towards the end of the competition.
Wow, I figured I'd at least get a few people that liked to play from time to time... oh well. At least I tried!

I used to play weekly until a year or so. All you would ever get to be accepted (in private cash games that went like +/- 300€ end of the night) was texas hold'em *lol*
some of us liked omaha but most didn't.
In my very early childhood (like 8-10 or so?) we played draw for a few pennys :D
