I assure you I'm no where NEAR as STUPID as one might think.

I'd like to know if anyone held any contest where all you do is work on a random, example Final Boss scene and battle for RPg Maker and then had people test them out and find out which was the best?

I'd kind of like to do that, I just need to know what people would think of it?
LockeZ made a boss battle design contest once, but I heard it was a pain to play every submission. Interesting idea though.

I've thought about making a fake game screenshot contest, with limitations such as low resolution or themes (so basically it's a pixel art contest where the fake gameplay mechanics showcased can earn you points). Dunno if anyone would be interested.

I like the idea.

What if you MIXED the two ideas for a contest. Final Boss scene and battle, and those who want, a fake final boss scene/battle screen shot.

It allows more people to get involved with one contest.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I would recommend not doing what I did, which was have user voting. No one plays them all, and half the people's entries will require obscure versions of the RTP that the other half of the people don't have (even if you try to make everyone include RTP). Also it was like half a gig to download even when I let people leave out the RTP; with RTP included it would be closer to two or three gigs.

Just get a couple judges. You'll have a lot less headache. I'd be willing to be one of them. I love me some bosses.

I had an almost identical idea not too long ago. But it was more along the lines of "create the best vapourware demo" It does sound like a fun idea to get peoples creative juices flowing.

I'd want to start one but I'd also like to partake in it. Not to win, but just to join because dialog wise, I can come up with some very twisted, but deep scenes.
