Rpgmakerweb.com should be trustworthy.
I tried and downloaded the trial version of XP. My KasperSky didn't detect any threat. Norton might be at fault here.

norton is very, very bad. false positives, security holes, bloatware, and it's bloody impossible to fully uninstall to make things sweeter. I would replace it if I were you.
e: AVG's free version is a little basic, but it's at least a better alternative. I've also heard good things about Avast!, but I don't have any personal experience with it.
