So, I've thought about making my game into something similar to monster rancher, only with dragons. Basically, for the first 30 days (in game days), you're raising your dragon(s) for an upcoming tournament. When you finally get there, you're battling through the tournament but somewhere mid-way through, you somehow stumble into the back of the place (Don't know how yet, maybe you follow somebody), and you find a baby dragon. You then discover that the tournament Committee has been stealing dragons from all around, as well as robbing the loosers of the tournament. You save the baby dragon as well as free the other captured ones, and eventually they find out and pretty much that's all I got so far.

I'd like your guys' opinions and if you'd like playing this type of game =D

That is only a setting, there isn't much to say about it other than if it's your thing, go for it ;)
Make the games that you'd personally enjoy playing. It doesn't really matter what other people think.

As Avee said, your idea seems as fine as any other. It does sound somehow that you might have a RPG with simulation elements in mind. BTW, people generally like dragons ...
