Sooooooo – another Halloween is upon us. And since I’ve been an adult for a while and it’s pretty much another day just like any other day, I’m curious to hear what all you guys are going to be doing for this year’s Halloween. Are you guys going to dress up and go out trick-or-treating? Are you going to go out to a Halloween party or do something else of that nature? Do you have to work on Halloween? Or are you just going to stay home and hand out some candy to the kiddies?
For me, since there are no sports on Thursday I’ll probably just watch a scary movie or something on T.V. that night. I would hand out some candy, but in the last few years the number of kids has slowly diminished in our neighbourhood to the point where we’ll probably get around one or two kids a night; not really worth it to buy a box of candy just for that (also considering that none of us in the house even eats any candy). So, yeah, same old same old.

Last year my house got three kids.
I'll probably watch some hockey or something and pick away at Halloween candy so it seems like more kids came and we gave more away or something.

Trick or treating with friends and making sure we visit certain other friends houses. Also the local church hands out donuts and cider so that's a must go. I will be a bobblehead monkey this year which is the most ridiculous costume I've had pretty much ever. Even when I get too old for trick or treating I'll love walking around the city at night and soaking in the festivities.
If my friends bail I'll go buy some candy to gorge myself with and wallow in despair while I watch Friday the 13th in VHS form repeatedly.

Nothing special. Halloween isn't celebrated where I'm currently, except for the upper classes. I'll probably have to fight traffic to get home after work in time to watch Game 67 of the World Series (if it goes that far). There was a landslide of a hill due in the main highway of some rich b****'s house who had some unauthorized, shoddy work. The drain pipe was built so the water ended up weakening the side of the hill, combined with the rainy season, resulted in a large landslide last Thursday. Thankfully, nobody got injured, but all roads are now heavily congested.
On November 1st, I do get a holiday on all Saints Day or better known as Day of the Dead. People usually go to the cemetery to visit the graves of their dead. The good thing is I don't work Saturday, so I'll have a long weekend.

Going to a halloween party with my GF. We're probably gonna watch bad horror movies and stuff. :P It's usually awesome.

*knocks on wood* I sure hope that no one decides to pull any pranks during the night – like tossing eggs at my front door because I don’t have any candy nor giving out any.
Halloween is my last day of work on my current turnaround, so that's sonething yo be happy about. I'll be heading home on November 1st.

Well we have several Halloween parties here in Holland. I even saw some kids trick or treating. It isn't a nationwide fest though.
Unfortunantly I have loads of schoolwork to do so I can't go. I did have a party at thursday though. I went as Edward Kenway (AC series) and won the price for best costume =p.
