Hello, my name is leondre
im new here obviously, but ive been playing alot of rpg maker since 2006 so i decided its time to try and make my own
i had spent about 3 days thinking of a story
basically i need a tutorial on how to use rpg maker 2003, like over Skype, using YouTube videos and the text based ones just leave me confused (im ashamed) but basically after i learn i can get to making this game.

Tears of The Gods
30 years Ago, a war between gods broke out,to the east The sky thundered and was red like fire, to the west, it was bright with light and beautiful, in the middle stood a grand church used to pray to the gods, The Western kingdom of Esteval Was Beautiful and known for its great Wisdom and Knowledge about magic. while the eastern kingdom had inhuman strength, and Powerful army's. the Power they had was received by the gods on both sides of the war, no man knew why the war between gods was happening. after a meeting from both kings both sides decided they needed to find away to appease the gods so they may keeps the gifted powers the received. the eastern kingdom wanted to pray to the goddess of light and wisdom, while the western kingdom wanted to pray to the God of War and fire, they couldn't come to an agreement so a terrible war broke out. after 14 years of war, a great tragedy worse than the war between the kingdoms happened, out of the sky flew a great power it crashed straight into the church destroying it, both kings held off the war and sent elite soldiers to find out what crashed down, they immediately reported back to the kings, where they made an agreement, their top scientist will study what crashed down, after 4 years mysteriously the subject went missing and the kingdoms decided to make a wall between the kingdom with the bridge between them being the church to end the war peacefully, 10 years later the story start as <Protagonist> is in his hometown of Lavani Village owned by neither kingdom, a Small-medium sized town where everyone knows him because hes always getting into trouble or fighting with a couple of delinquents , he lives with his mother an old widow who is very sickly, then one day soldier comes to his village to turn it into a outpost in case of war and orders everyone to evacuate, <protagonist> takes up arms and defeats a whole squad of soldiers by himself, what events will be set forth because of his actions?

Try this. I wrote it specifically for beginners so as not overwhelm them with words. Let me know if this helps at all, I'd really like to know.

But i still would like a Instructor or teacher to teach me the ins and outs of 2003
Look, the best way to learn the program is to use the program. Jump in there with an experimental game that's just to mess around in and learn how to use things.
Use tutorials, sure, but your first job will be just checking what each button does. Go through and mess with things for a few days, then try to make something just randomly for a few weeks.
It takes time to learn to use an engine effectively, so take that time to do so. Good luck, bud~
