If it's a game-specific question/issue, posting on the gamepage is a good way to get answers. If the game developer doesn't respond, there might be somebody who's knowledgeable about the game, and issue that you are having with it, that can answer.

Don't worry. "I'm a noob and I have no idea of how to do anything @ RMN ...", seems to be a very common first experience. Probably the fact that games here have gamepages instead of forum topic was confusing for you, wasn't it? Anyway, feel free to ask away ... only make sure you do so in the right place (if you don't you'll get booed or hissed @! :P
