LUNAR INSPIRED BATTLE SYSTEM/ LOZ SYLED COMBAT

I was wondering if anyone here has managed to create a battle system similar to the one seen in the PS1 Lunar series of games or not; or if it would be possible to create one in VX Ace or not? Also would it be feasible to design a Classic Zelda or Link to the Past styled combat system where you go around attacking enemies one at a time without going to a combat/batle screen?
You'd probably have better luck looking for one for Gamemaker. But there are probably some action battle systems for VX Ace somewhere...

Why does it need to be VX Ace?
It kind of sounds to me that you don't have the right engine for game you are wanting to make.

Anywho, a very quick google search turned up XAS by Xiderwog and Atelier(Moghunter). Try looking for that to see if it suits your requirements.
I've DLed XAS and installed in a new game. Started a tutorial. Unfortunately there aren't a whole lot of them on the internet. So I've just made a simple tutorial project till I get the hang of everything else.
