I was wondering if it was possible to buy items as a gift(in order to give them away to others) from the store? I haven't seen any indication of this when I add items to the cart both here and on rpgmakerweb.com. Is steam sorta the only way to gift stuff? I'd rather do it through here, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks

I think the best you can do is send a link to the recipient. It's probably best to ask RPGMakerWeb.com since it's their store.

If you're asking for a "Suggestion" as your post suggests....
I would suggest the DS Resource Pack (Personally owning almost every resource pack in existence now.)
