[RPGMAKER 2003] HELP WITH FINDER.EXE, POWER PATCH COMPACT AND DISHARMONY

Hello there, I'm working on a game with RPG Maker and I want to make use of Disharmony and Power Patch compact. However, when I try to use the "finder.exe" (I found the version 1.2 beta) it gets to the point where it wants to start dumping data, and then it freezes and the only way to get it to stop is using task manager.
I'm using Windows 8.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any idea how to get the finder.exe to work or happens to have a finder.dat file kicking around that would work.
Thanks in advance!

Send me your rpg_rt.exe and I'll create you the finder.dat - alternatively, try enabling XP compatibility mode both on RPG_RT.exe and Finder.exe
Yeah, I've tried the XP compatibility modes - no good. I can't seem to get RPGMaker 2009 to work either (crashes on start up)
What's the best way to send you the rpg_rt?
Thanks man.

RM2k9: Try enabling compatiblity mode and admin rights for both rpg2009.exe and the original rpg2003.exe (since the latter is used by the former).
If it still doesn't work, it might be due to an Antivirus software of Firewall interfering (I remember problems with COMODO, for example). If such a software tries to modify programs in memory when they are started, to inject some additional code, it makes the RM2k9 loader screw up because it expects the original RM2k3 program in the memory, not something modified.

Okay, here's my RPG_RT file...

As for 2009, I tried turning off my firewall and antivirus protection but it didn't seem to do anything. I have everything set to run as an administrator too. I end up with either an exit code of C0000005 (access violation) or FF =/
Thanks for your help on this!

Unfortunately, I have the same problem (with Finder in general), maybe it's not x64 compatibile (it's quite old)... can somebody else try it please?
I finally got it to work - ended up rebuilding an old tower that had XP on the hard disk and managed to make a finder file out of that. Seems to be working just fine alongside keypatch, dynrpg and the various other patches I have it running with. What's strange is I seem to need some of the files from earlier power patches to get it to work properly - but I can live with that.
Keep writing the awesome patches man! I'm a big fan of your work.
