Happy new year all just a few questions that maybe some of you could answer for me if that's okay :)

I wanted to know were is the best place for me to learn about making my own aiming and shooting like resident evil games , I have played a few resident evil rpg maker games and have enjoyed the aiming and shooting system And I would love to be able to do that but have no clue were to start learning.

I want to be able to create shooting like this

I understand it wont be easy but if someone could just set me on the right path to a tutorial or a few games that feature shooting and aiming that would be greatly appreciated. Im not sure what tutorials I would need to even start learning.

I see these people making all these fantastic looking games And it really makes me want to be a part of that.

whats the best rpg maker 2003 game out there with a aiming and shooting system ?

thanks if you can help.
This tutorial is a good place to start: http://rpgmaker.net/tutorials/859/

Once you learn the basics of using such a tile-based battle system, it isn't that hard to make projectile attacks, set parameters like firing rate and use Battle Animations or Pictures to show extra images and animations.

As for games that feature a similar firearm-based battle system, I can't think of any, but there surely are a few. Try browsing through these game pages: http://rpgmaker.net/games/?engine=5&status=&tag=ACT&rating=&download=yes&commercial=exclude&sort=&portal=yes
