I'm with Darken, but to put it in slightly less combative terms, this sort of thing seems like it would basically just end up fostering an unhealthy spirit here, encouraging the tendency to try to measure ways that one member's better than another. I don't care for the sort of atmosphere that breeds, personally.

Exactly, I think this would work alright on a forum like this. If certain people ever did get too serious and competitive about it, you just stop it.
Erm, on a side note. What exactly is a Misaos? Is it just an award for indie game makers?

I can't really see any of us getting competitive about this. But i have seen this work fairly well on other forums so i presume it will do well here if we decide to have it. Plus it could bring some more activity around here and remove some of those evil creatures known as "lurkers".
Lurkers aren't bad...they're the secret life of the community. If the only people that visited forums were only the ones posting on them...
