PRERENDERED GAME TRAILERS

So some of you might remember the late nineties when games had all these pre-rendered trailers for themselves because game graphics were too shit to show in reality and games suddenly got mainstream enough to get tv exposure (and also internet).
Well sometimes games do this even today. And oftentimes these trailers are pretty awesome (though they have as little to do with the game as ever). So what are some of your favourites?
(in reality this is a topic I came up with because of this new Batman trailer which is sweet as hell)
One of my recent(-ish) favourites has to be the Deus Ex Human Revolution trailer
It basically has everything a trailer should have. It's also quite tightly edited (there is a longer version too that just feels too long) with a great score.

I'll admit the Dead Island trailer is very good but the game it advertised for came nowhere close to the level of emotion and showing of loss it conveyed in it. The game was almost the exact opposite of it. It was a brilliant marketing scheme but it's also a huge lie.
But if I'm gonna recommend some examples for a great prerendered trailer I would have to go with Blizzards Trailers, they're amazing. They show just enough to get you interested while staying true to each games lore.
Special mentions to Square for the intros of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, X & XII. All gave a glimpse into something special, and although some didn't reach the epic nature of those intros they're still great showings of each games potential going forward.
