VX SCRIP REQUEST: SEND PARTY MEMBER AWAY FROM STATUS SCREEN

Now here is the thing,
I use RMVX and I'd need a script that allows me to send any party member (except the main char of course) away. I'd like to do that via the STATUS screen of the person. So you go to the menu, go to status, select the person and the stats are shown and if you press a button, C or whatever, it asks you if you want to send the character away, you go to yes and the character is gone, go to no and we are back to regular status screen.

Please? :)

My first thought was to get a script that modifies the Formation menu option to swap out characters. But then, I realized that the Formation menu option was in VX Ace, not in VX.

I guess it depends how insistent you are about only being able to remove members, but, my initial Google search on "swap party script vx" lead me to this thread, among others.
yeahi have a similar script for large parties but i need the characters to leavethe party completely. so i figured something simple like:

if on status menu of character X press buttn Z or so
remove said character from party

its okay if its rather simple and i tried it with common events but there is no way for an event to determine what character stauts you are looking at :(
RMN has never been big on scripts. Your best bet would to be to ask at VX.Net, since they still focus primarily on VX.

You could try asking over at VXAN or RMW on their VX Script Request forum, but fair warning, there's been close to 0 activity in this part at VXAN, and the activity over at RMW isn't that much higher.

Basically, VX is out, Ace is in, and most sites don't have a lot of support for VX these days. If you can't get it at VX.net, then the chances of it happening are slim, unless you pay somebody or do it yourself.
I don't think that's giving us a fair shake, we have a lot of talented people in the scripting department. It's true that as a community we're a bit behind on it, but the talent is there. Keep trying, though.
I usually find here what I am looking for and I have time, seeing how I always start with a prototype first to refine the gameplay. But it would still be nice if somebody could code that^^
So I managed to stich a funciton like that together by using Yanflys Party Menu script. So now I would jut need some help with making it pretty and limited to not every member. So if I post the script here, can you guys fix it up?
