I couldnt think of a better title for this so im gonna be more specific here. I want to work on RMVX ace and make games, but so far ive only opened and closed the program with no actual work. Im also having hard time making things in game such as cutscenes or good looking maps etc. Now you probably gonna say "Go find a tutorial then." You see i cant just read endless text or watch long video tutorials just so i will figure out this one thing, its time consuming and i end up more confused. What i want is to find people who can guide me through all this or even people that can "hire me" on a project so i can work with them and learn things from them. I can get on to more details if anyone wants to.
Welcome to RMing. You have to build your skills gradually and not many people out there will offer to hold your hand through it all and even less will 'hire' someone on who has no experience in anything - that's just a waste of their time. The best way to learn those skills is to mess with the program, find out what each thing does and build up from there.

Even if you don't like reading or watching tutorials, you should attempt to learn the basics from them - Switches and Variables are necessities to eventing.

You could also open some projects and look at the eventing in them to see how things were done. Key tip - depending on the program, there's in-built help pop-ups. For Ace, just hover over the heading of the part you want to learn more about and a pop-up should appear.
Thank you for your answer. To be honest im not against tutorials, but it feels right for me if they get to the point straight away so people can get it easily. I've also tried Crysalis and looked into its "source code" and i have to say this kinda helped at some point. My main issue though is that since i dont know much about, anything i cant work on something therefore i end up abandoning and focusing on the program over and over again. I want to find a way to both learn and to keep myself on working on projects.

You're magical to me.

When you say, "hire you on" what do you mean? And what skills would you be bringing to a project?

Well, what i lack completely of is coding, music composing, and drawing. I guess i can help out when it comes to story/lore, *maybe* level design and very basic things, such as classes, items etc. *Wears the "dunce" hat.*
Start off very small. You say you have skills in story/lore. Create a small game, maybe 15-30 minutes long and just keep refining it over and over until you have a working understanding of general eventing.

Also, if you like short, to the point 'help', try reading the help file included with the program. It should help out with different things, too. ^.^

Forget about scripts until you've got the base program down pat. Just experiment with stuff until you know it well. It's really the only way to get better - practice makes perfect, after all.
