Hover your mouse over your username. There should be a "Manage Games" that you can click on. There's a "Submit New Game" button on that page. Fill out as much information as you can (particularly the required fields!), add three images, and it should get into the queue.

The way that I've seen the episodic features being used is when there is a series of games planned, and each game is considered an episode. The Manor Map Madness series comes to mind with this point, but I'm sure there's other examples of this.

Then, there are games that have episodic release schedules. I'm... not sure if I can give a really good example of what games on RMN use this, though. The Reconstruction, or Do You Miss the Sunrise?
Basically games are removed from the actual forums by having their own area that can be easily sorted by categories. Each game has it's own page which can be edited in various ways via CSS and allow for more pages to be added.

Episodic games are those which have chapters or are complete pieces that fit together to create a whole. Not quite like the Final Fantasy series - more like Suikoden or The Lord of the Rings. (Though FFX and FFX-2 fit, as do FFXIII, FFXIII-2 and FFXIII: Lightning Returns.)

As for Total Number of Episodes - that would be how many games in the 'series' are planned. And Episodes Completed would be how many of the 'chapters' are finished so far.

As for how to get your own game page up and running:-
If you want to share your game you need to create a game profile. To do so, hover above the Submissions heading at the top of the page and choose Submit Game.

From there fill in the details and add three different (but good) screenshots (if not more - you can always add more). Make sure your description is well-written with no spelling, grammar or punctuation errors and reaches the required length.

It will take about a week tops to get approved or denied.

If approved you may then add a download or link a download to the page. You can then also create pages for things like information about certain aspects of the game (walkthroughs or characters), add media in the form of videos or soundtracks and use the blog function to keep your subscribers up-to-date with your game changes.

If you are denied, no biggie. Just change what needs to be edited to meet the standards of the site and resubmit.
