A list of games that we've been meaning to play and/or wrap that we just haven't gotten around to yet, for whatever reason. Maybe another game has claimed your free time, maybe you're waiting for a new video card or patch, or maybe you're just lazy - it's doesn't matter.
Make a list of backlogged games you intend on playing/finishing
1. Mario Kart Wii
I got this for my birthday but still haven't popped it into the machine. But it's next on my list!
2. Final Fantasy XII
Same deal.
3. Dragon Quest VIII
I've been scouring my city for a copy, new or used, but can't find it! I will find it and play it, mark my words.
4. Command & Conquer 3
I got this for christmas. I haven't played through it yet (but I've played 1 skirmish!).
5. Dungeon Siege II
I got this last spring - need some free time to invest in it. I haven't any (any free time seems to go to RM2k3).
6. Dark Kingdoms
Bought this used from the video rental store for the PS3. Looked cool and was cheap.
7. Disgaea
A friend lent it to me, and says it's awesome. We'll see (eventually).
8. Paper Mario
Bought it on the Wii sometime last year - still haven't played it. I suck, I know.

1) Ace Combat Zero
Fuck you Morgan. I got to the last mission and got beat upside the head over and over again. Even worse, I need to redo the second to last mission since you can't save/change planes/special weapons between the last two!
2) Paper Mario 2
Another case of getting to the last boss and dying. This time I had ran out of healing items on the lead-up bosses so I went to the final boss with one or two healing items. Things didn't end well (I did get the boss to half health) so I left to restock and forgot to finish the game.
3) Pokemon XD
Lost save file. God damnit. Oh well...
4) Final Fantasy 12
I tend to play this game a lot in two days, then drop it for two months. I do intend on finishing it, but I keep getting distracted by ingame things (Hunts and failing at them) I make little progress.
5) Suikoden 5
Most recently played since I'm making progress in the game and I haven't hit a brick wall/last boss yet.
6) Skies of Arcadia
Got to money grind to progress plot. Tried fighting bounty bosses and lost (50% chance of reviving character is bullshit, as are the one-shot kills some bosses pull)

But yeah as you can see from my avatar I've recently beaten the second phoenix wright game, just started on the third. This is seriously a great game to play in a car trip.

I don't usually buy games until I am tired of what I am currently playing. I go by a pretty strict one-game-at-a-time rule (well one home game and one handheld game). I have a lot of games I haven't finished but I won't get back to them.
Oh man, so many it's not in the least bit amusing. i collect them, so nowadays i pick up ones qhen i see them, because it don't know when i'll get another chance.
Anyway, here's my top ganes:
Star Ocean 2: trying for like the 8th time - i just get distracted after a while and lose the story.
FFXII: Can't wait to dive into this one
Disgaea 2: i'm almost done, but i dropped it in lieu of some of my older games
FFIII: Not the top of my list, but handhelds are always in reach.
Xenosaga ep:1: I've been at this for freakin ever. it's such a punishing game.
Kingdom Hearts II: got a ways into it, but dropped it in lieu of other games, and wanting to restart in expert so i wouldn't have to go and find all the bloody treasure chests to get the secret ending.
I have others, but these are the top of my pile.
Anyway, here's my top ganes:
