I really enjoy games -mostly rpg games-, recently I found some really great horror games which led me to this community!
My long -very long- term plan is to make a fantasy-adventure rpg game. But since its a big and rather complicate idea, I decided to start with a smaller project. A horror game! So I guess that -in time- I will burden you with questions!
Meanwhile I'll keep enloying the games I found here (I already downloaded a few!) and explore a little bit around!!

I'm not a huge fan of horror games, but, it does seem like there have been an influx of them here of late. I dunno. Maybe it's just me.

"unity" The picture in my avatar is the main character for the fantasy/adventure game I mentioned. I made it -I admit it took me a while- so I'm glad you like her!
"Marrend" I quess not everyone likes horror games (nothing wrong with that), but I'm glad that there are many out there, I do enjoy a good scare he, he!

It has just occurred to me that you should totally check out this community game if you want to get your feet wet. I'm sure there's a few places in the "Make a Map!" tab that should peak your interest!

My guess about the reason for the (kinda) recent increase in indie horror is that none of the big companies seem to make em' anymore. I heard they are expensive to make, and probably pretty risky too. But still, there are people that like them, so people make them themselves.

About horror games, I agree with "SnowOwl" and I want to add that horror games, like any other type, has its audience. In my case I played a few of them, I enjoyed them and got inspired to make one myself!
