SoO yeah I don't remember if I ever talked about my main "thing" here. You see, I do games because I can (and I missed games development after I dropped out of the indie biz in 2010) but my true thing, my one and true love are the comics I write.
Comics, as in superhero issue styled comics a'la Marvel (not DC :p) and well, that is what I do.
I was hoping you guys check them out - it is free after all - and maybe, I dunno, tell your friends or share the website or such (it is so hard getting readers together without an advertising budget and being socially awkward) to help me out :)
The comics are here: http://www.void-comics.com
Our main Title is NIGHTFIGHTER but BLACK SHADOW and SHADE are also ongoing. The others are mini series^^
Thanks and enjoy reading :)

Seems like it might be a bit of an Archive Binge, but I'll check them out.
I don't actually know anybody to tell them about it, though.

That's pretty cool, EzekielRage! I'm a comic artist/writer myself, glad to see another dedicated soul here on RMN!
Thanks guys, glad I find some like minded people here :)
Yeah there is a bit of an archive to read but since it is issue based I believe it is not that much to get through, especially if you start with one series before tackling the next.
I hope to keep doing this for the rest of my life, I have written most of this when I was a teen (15 or so years ago) and have refined it ever since then so this means a lot to me :)

Looks really awesome. I'll definitely give it a read. :>
Makes me nostalgic for the days when I did webcomics too.
Have you tried advertising on webcomic community sites? I believe on Smackjeeves at least you can post in their self-promotion forum without having your comic actually hosted with them.

I did, yes, I am also onw ebcomics underdog, the houthousers and have some stuff on topwebcomics. Doesn't bring many readers though because htose places are flooded with webcomics.
Since i am not an american visiting any comic convention is kinda out of my reach so i rely on word of mouth, hoping one of my readers will spread the word^^

I'm actually in the process of doing this exact same thing; issue based webcomic. Great minds think alike~
After there's about half the impending graphic novel, I'll be printing issues and attending conventions. There's quite a few, even here in Toronto. Also, shoveling some money onto Facebook advertising, attending Twitter more actively among the cartoonists, and -Possibly- rolling into the social fundraising route. We'll see about that last one...
How much money are you willing to put into your site?

Wiling? A lot - but I am a cripple and live off of handicapped funds from the government so i don't have much cash. I can get barely by every month so there is not much I can do.
And before you ask: I don't smoke, don't drink alcohol, no other drugs, no online gaming, gambling or any other kind of money wasters. Not even a car.
