APPROVED GAMES

Okay so I've scanned through some games on RMN and I've looked at the Submissions rules too. It's quite clear that a lot of games don't follow the rules so I'm wondering how they managed to creep into the database?
The most frustrating thing is that when you want to play a game, there are no filters and the rating system is crap and a lot of games are a waste of time as they contain very little info.
I don't want to name any games but a quick clean up is needed IMO. Is that too much to ask?

We'll probably have to wait until RMN3, which is coming soon. WIP is going to get rid of the dull rating system and convert it into reviews only or something. Which prevents alot of bad games from getting the top scores because one person rated it UP on it. Speaking of which, I wonder if theres going to be a popularity system in place, like how many views a project got, just so people can get a good idea on whats hot even if the isn't completed or has a demo.
But yeah, wait for RMN3.

Yeah at one point pretty much anything was accepted. At various points I've gone through and redenied some to clear them out.
And if you think the shit that's in there now is bad, you should see the mountains of garbage we deny.
I've noticed that games you have cleared out still appear on the random screenshot feature on the homepage. Nothing important, just letting you know.
Yeah that's a known bug that I'm going to fix here.
Imo it would be cool if you had Random Screenshots instead of Random Screenshot. That's a pretty long column down the right on the main page.
