RECRUITING MEMBERS FOR HIVE-MIND PRODUCTIONS

Pages: 1
The group is called Hive Mind Gaming and we are in need of an artist or two. We have few games in development, maybe you have heard of them. Some examples are E-Den and Fractured Mind. We mainly use RPG maker VX ace, except for Fractured Mind which we use RPG maker XP

So far we have a writer, an eventer, a mapper, a couple beta testers, a developer and an amateur artist. So far there are only 3 members of Hive Mind productions, so most of us are pulling double, if not triple duty. We would like to be able to focus on our own individual roles in order to work better as a team, as such we need your help.

Now to move on to what we are looking for. A Composer would be nice but we really need a Artist, a Mac and XP Sprite editor and a Character Artist.

UPDATE

Oddly enough we need help with story structure and development, we are great with concepts but we have trouble making a story that would do these concepts justice. So we are in need of writers and editors, so that we, as a group can bounce around ideas and create a story that everyone can enjoy.

So far we cannot promise we will make money, so with that warning aside we hope we haven't scared you away.

If anyone is interested Private message me, Aquablue11 or haos8897.

We hope to hear from you

Here are more detail examples of our work

E-Den

Brief story description

You have been here for as long as you remember, They say it is for your own safety, keeping you away from what they call “outside” or otherwise known as the External plain.

After the lights go out in your room and your door suddenly unlocks, a message appears saying “Emergency, Evacuate the building” and there is no-one else around, you find there is nowhere else to go but outside to the “External plain”

Gameplay

You will be playing as Kai, a fifteen year old boy who has never been to outside world.

After various things that happen inside the place you call the "Facility" you find that the only option is to escape.

Along the way through puzzles, you will have to choose eventually, between two people you know

One you have known for a long time and another who you have only just met

Fractured Mind (At the moment it is on Hiatus but we will start it up probably in the future)

Story
A boy wakes up in a dark room, with no memories of anything but a name, which is Jayden. As he leaves the room and explores his surroundings, he finds that the whole place is filled with little or no light and he starts to wonder where the hell he is. After a while he then realizes he is trapped in here, with no recollection of who he is and a monster after the smell of his own blood.

What is it about?
Fractured mind is a game that looks at a place in your mind which is called the dark. Yeah, that name is pretty cliché. If something happens to your soul, the dark may basically suck in your soul. Sometimes it can take some or all of your memories away. If your body dies while your soul is in the dark, you will be trapped. But if your soul dies in the dark, your mind will cease to exist. When your soul is pulled into the dark, your body will go into a comatose state.

When asking for aid you MUST include at least as much information as someone who is creating a game page.

For those seeking help there must be:
- At least 500 words describing the game - what you're aiming for, game genre, story summary, systems planned, anything that will draw people in out of interest and what plans you have for the game itself. If you can't meet the word limit you don't have enough information to go looking for people to make the game with.
- 3+ screenshots of what you have so far or what you're capable of.
- Precise details about what you're looking for in people - what type of skills (mappers, writers, animators, musicians, etc); the skill level (beginner, advanced, professional); what you're looking to get out of them (a few sprites, 20 maps, an estimate of songs); what, if anything, you're willing to pay/recompense them with (nothing, monetary reward, t-shirts, something from the RMN store); the estimated amount/length of work (a few weeks, a couple of months, a year, until end of development).
- Past pieces of work, if applicable. This can be in the vein of written works, art, story boarding, games (even just flash ones) or anything that can show you have some sort of skill and the level of such.

If after 48 hours this topic has not been update, then I will move said topic to the Archives. I will not lock, so that the creator has the chance to edit and once edited, they may contact Liberty via PM and, if it meets the new rules, it will be moved back to the correct area.
In the case of rejection, topic spam will be met with warnings and/or bans, as per the site rules.

Also, do not make another new topic. Instead, edit your initial post. Spamming topics is against the site rules.

You can't.
I already moved and locked them, don't worry about that. Just update this thread to include what is necessary and we'll go from there. ^.^

Even newspapers have those nowadays.

HiveMind productions? That rings a bell. Have you made any games recently? Either way I'm interested. I can help with both code and graphics (but I do only pixelart).
So basically you are 3 idea guys? Or what are you guys doing?
