Some VERY early stuff from a project I recently kicked back into gear. I really like how the backdrop turned out.
@Skyrim screenshot, I agree that the style with clean blocks of color seems to suit you better, though for 3 hours that's a good rendition of the screenshot. It's amazing when people do realistic pixel art, but that takes months. So crazy!
@New image, I love that broken lightbulb in the background there. Front building looks great, too! If you're up to suggestions, maybe change the black lines around the door/plates to a lighter color? Still looks very nice though~
I especially like that circular detail pattern in the red splash on the building.

I can test it out, but I find that when I mix dark colour outlines with black outlines with the same piece it doesn`t turn out right.
Scaled 2x. This will probably stand in as the working version of this town, until I get some more headway made on the project. Gotta fix that TV, turned out really bad.
This is just part of an unused backdrop from the same project. Had to change it up, the cacti didn't fit the theme of the game.

Ahh, this looks like an interesting game project! Nice touch with the rust on the fence, by the way!
Like, seriously. Just create a really small game where you collect items and do little quests for people, and savour in the thousands of downloads and feature spots.
Thanks!
I am working on a small scale project right now, as I've been captivated by the (admittedly not so strict) gameboy style. Hopefully I can convince myself to follow through with it.

Your pixel art is fantastic, Pizza! I especially love the maps. They have a very Earthbound crossed with fantasy sort of feel.
I'm drawing my own tilesets for maps in my current project, and I feel like I have a lot to learn. I hope to one day be at least half this good ^_^

I really like your pixel art! As Unity said, your maps give off a really wonderful Mother type vibe. Thanks for sharing! :D
I'm also a huge fan of that Skyrim piece, I agree that the mountain might be a bit too bright. Other than that it's a really amazing piece that reminds me of Demon's Souls a bit.
I am back to pretty much hang out in my own topic and maybe read an article or two. Also this is a dump for everything I make now. fuck it lets roll
Some traditional art (NSFW):
Began practicing a character from a longtime project. Eyeballed a reference I came upon to get her base look right:

Then worked on an outfit concept:

Also here's a photography thing that I made while stoned off my face:

It made more sense at the time but I still like it.
I haven't done any pixel art since the last stuff I posted. I got nothing, been feeling the traditional art more.
