HI! IM NEW AND THOUGHT I'D TALK ABOUT MY XP GAME!

CloseMy game is called Kingdom Come The characters, are Crystal, Lora, Elaine
Jacob, Teru, Raine, Serena, Selena(those two are twins), and the figure heads,
Mia, and Johnathen. There is yet to be a story, but at the very beginning
Johnathen's (your) mother dies... So give me suggestions for story please!
Anyway I own xp, vx, and ace. I'm pretty good with eventing in ace so if you need help, I could be your man!
That's the cast and logo, the characters are in the order they're listed from left to right, here's my title screen!

While you can use the forum to help improve certain aspects of your games (shreenshots go here and so forth), it is not meant to be used to advertise your game.
Please use these threads in Game Discussion or Game Theory for specific topics instead.
You could also check out some tutorials for a general idea.
But what I can give you as advice is that you should set the focus of your game (story? exploration? battle?) early on, then try to build a world they live in and from then out outline a possible story. What kind of characters might be involved?
Start with a rough idea and then try to fill it out a little bit more.

As Kylaila said, actual talk about your game is to be kept either to your own game page (which you can create via the Submissions header at the top of the page) or, if you've not enough to make a game page yet, the specific threads for game talk.

What I like to do is basically look at the story I want to tell - what are my characters aiming for? Where will the game end and how? - then find ways to take the characters to that point. I usually have a semi-timeline of major points in the story that I use to keep on track. For a quick example"
- Father dies protecting child from monster
- Child meets adoptive parents and love interest
- Character grows up.
- accidentally sets off an ancient curse, killing the visiting Princess and is exiled
- meets wise old witch who tells her that she is the only one who can save the king
- tries to save king, is instead framed for Prince's murder
- on the run, still trying to find a way to save the king
- meets old love interest who believes her and joins with him to try save country
- manages to meet with king by sneaking into encampment
- oh no, is trap! king is killed, love interest was really working with evil!
- old witch was really queen disguised. kills king, frames you
- sent to prison where you end chapter 1 of game
