ADDING A FULLSCREEN SCRIPT, ONTO A PREMADE GAME.

Greetings, I've recently been trying to play games made with RPG Maker VX, VX ace and I'm having a hell of a time getting a playable experience out of it.
I saw a post last night about using DXGL to use a glide wrapper to properly produce a non laggy, fullscreen image that's scaled correctly and that worked for me with LISA, but I can't seem to get it working with Drunken Paladin.
I noticed there was a fullscreen++ Script out there, but I have no idea how I would apply that to such a game.
Incase it's not obvious yet, I have windows 8. Yeah it sucks for RPG Maker I know, but if there's anyway someone could give me some advice or point me in the right direction, i'd greatly appreciate it as I've been wanting to satisfy a traditional JRPG fix for a while now, Thank you for your time.

It's been discussed around here. I dunno what info it contains as I don't have issues on Win8 with any of that.

Hey thanks for responding first of all.
Yeah, that first link was where I first became aware of DXGL, and it did work great for LISA for me but that was apparently an rpg maker 2003 game. VX and VX ACE just don't seem to work with it for me, and I'm sure I'm selecting the correct exe's.
The only possible solution I see at this point is trying to get a script to work like this one Fullscreen++ but I have no idea how to do that, is there a guide around here that explains that? All I saw throughout my multiple searches was how to enter scripts into your own game, not how to apply them to premade games.
