SENDING MAIL ISSUES???

CloseEarlier I was trying to send a message and every-time it would end with showing me the "Server is Down" page. But the rest of the website was still running? At first I thought the messages weren't sending so I kept trying over and over. Eventually I went to the sent mail tab only to find that ALL of the messages had sent. Whoops.
So then I sent a message to the person I had unintentionally spammed (Im sorry) and I only sent it once BUT it shows up as having been sent twice??
So why do I keep seeing the server is down page and why did it double send?

On an unrelated matter, I'd like to file a complain against someone who was spamming me.

I have experienced this issue, too. It seems to depend on whether the message sent is very long and possibly on which user it is sent to (though that seems very odd). It's not a major problem if you know about it, but the issue definitely exists.

I have experienced this issue, too. It seems to depend on whether the message sent is very long and possibly on which user it is sent to (though that seems very odd). It's not a major problem if you know about it, but the issue definitely exists.
Strange it wasn't a very long message... So it must have been because of who I sent it to...

Well I did get the server error recently, geez, now that I think about it it happened when I sent a PM! And the site has been a little slow to load the last few days.
One of my recent PM's sent out twice, and on all these duplicates they are happening minutes apart.

If someone is spamming you, report it. You don't have to put up with that. Just PM one of we staff about it and we'll see about sorting it out.

It's site lag, I believe. We're currently tinkering with a few things behind the scenes so there might be a bit more than usual for a little while.

Good to know it's just site lag. Also I believe the "spam" Link_2112 is referring to was me, since I didn't realize the messages were sending and accidentally sent a bunch of repeats on accident.

:P Yeah, I was just teasing Ebeth about all 8 dupe PM's she sent me. At least it boosts my numbers on the monthly stats for PM's sent/received.
I report stuff to you guys all the time so I have no problem doing that haha No worries there.
