This is one thing that make me, WERY uncomfortable with the RPG-maker. Many games look delichious, then the menus and fighting screen make me irritated, so I don´t want to play the games, as every game menu looks like each other games made by the RPG-maker.

I would want to design the menus (how they appear), and how the fighting screen appear. Is it text like Attack, Magic, Inventory, etc. Or is it instead a symbol you click on?? There is many idéas about this.

From my perspective, I would want the ability to design my own menus, the fighting screen, how the fighting screen looks like. Where I would have a photo of the characters; did I want it round, where on the screen should the photo apear, and even how and when should it appear on the screen. But also do I really want some photo of the characters on the screen at all.

Maybe, one could create a plugin for this, even a crossover between RPG maker and AGS (Adventure Game Studios), or at least inspired by AGS engine, as it is pretty more free to do things in this.

Let´s take an example, if I want to make a hentai J-RPG with sex attacks, instead of Attack, then there should be "Fuck", than "Attack". I really miss this ability to design the menues, and how they work and don´t working. Like, if I want to make a variant of Final Fantasy XII wery original fighting system would be nice. Of cause, that would be pretty advanced; or make a simplified version.

What I mean, is to creating a kind of "shell system", with then could be "fleshed" and "colored" by, their personal "Free Menu Design", their own, "Fighting Screens Design" and how it really works. In the AGS (Adventure Game Studio), you designing and can programming if you want for more advanced things, even including 3D motors in the game, as some games is in 3D.

For short, give people moore freedom to create their own menus, how they work, how they looks like, how the fighting screen appears, how it looks like and work, give people an option to create, design, program, like the AGS engine, for more freedom in game making.

Please, don´t see this as an attack, as I´m only want a more perfected RPG-maker.
You can rename nearly every part of the menu. I once translated 98% of the menu using japanese symbols.

Details here. About all you can't edit is part of the status menu. Which yea, can someone make a patch that adds String options or something?
I don´t just mean rename the menu. I mean designing menus from scratch. Like they are rectangular, round, or like a flower. For example Look at both Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy XIII and you know what I mean.

Think it like using adobe photoshop, where you can create your own menus, and such on. Decorating the menus. But also how they works in different cases, pretty much like the Gambit Menu system in Final Fantasy XII, but also the game mechanics from the game, in maybe a simplified form (the red and blu line in fighting)

Here´s some examples of what disturbs me about RPG Maker. In my RPG maker book it is not told that you could create your own menus, fighting menus, etc...

I want to do everything myself, in the game. Of cause I don´t want to change the programs menus of RPG Maker, rather how the menus appear in the game to an extreme degree. So it is impossible to see the gaame is made by RPG maker.

I searched on the web on RPG Maker games and found that some games have different menus, maybe made by a designer, but what I mean here is that everytime for some years ago, when I´m searching for RPG Maker games, every time the game menu looks like the same in every game, and especially the fighting menu, with no difference.

Maybe I sounds cynical, or just telling that I want totally perfection. There is a program one could do effects. Like this time a bird will sing, at the same time the the flash lights on the screen will start flashing, a picture will manifesting on the screen after this happen, etc. There is just a problem, I don´t remember the name of the program. One could program the program to give different responses and effects.

Still such program could maybe be programmed to create a new game mechanics. For short a "game mechanics program", for FX, menus, advanced fighting tactics and so on, like a plugin to RPG maker. The best thing could be, if that this program is a separate program with plugins that could be used, within RPG Maker, and importing advanced "game mechanics, and "game motors".

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

You want someone to make you a new engine to make a variety of games out of? Dude, I think you're in over your head.

Anyway, someone already made this. Enterbrain did. It was called RPG Maker XP. Then they let you do it in VX and Ace also. The coding is done in Ruby. If you want a custom menu for your game then ask for that, and maybe someone will be willing to make it. If you want someone to build a new RPG Maker with a better framework for easily making your own custom menus without having to learn code, you're shit outta luck, because people don't want to spend five years on your random forum request.
