BATTLE LAYOUT WITH PLAYER FACING RIGHT: IS IT POSSIBLE? [RPGMAKER2003]

Hi. I am new here, and I've made this account because hoping someone of you could help me.
So, I am making a game on Rpgmaker2003, where the battle layout is by default with the hero on the right.
I've made my own sprites, but facing right (for the hero) and left (for the monsters), becuase I thought "If I flip them and then move them in the BattleLayout page it would work out the way I want it to be, right?".
Wrong. This is what happens:
This is how it appears as I start the fight:

And this is how it appears after the fight actually starts:

It seems the game automatically flips my sprites to make them look in the opposite direction.
How can I fix this?
Thanks in advance.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Wait, what? It's flipping the enemies too? WTF?
I can only assume there's some code in RM2K3 that flips the direction the sprites are facing if the hero is to the left of the enemies. The feature is probably designed to prevent you from having to draw a bunch of extra sprites for back attacks, but in your case it's getting applied in every battle.
So yeah, presumably just flipping the sprites will cause problems - they'll be backwards as you start the fight and then correct themselves. I don't actually have an idea to fix this other than "put the hero on the right."

Thank you.
So yea. Guess I'll have to go with the hero on the right...

but why do you want to have them facing right like this? Is there a specific reason?
The first reason is just because I wanted to make something different.
Also I like the hero facing right more. Don't know why, but I prefer it.
Hope that's something into the... right direction:
Get DynRPG 0.20 and put the above quote below the [QuickPatches] section in the DynRPG.ini
For manual character and monster placement. Surround battles don't really work.
Do not flip images and do not place your characters on the left side of the battle screen.
edit:
^ That up there was me working while dead tired, just to prove 3 or 4 people wrong. If it's not doing what you want it to, I'll change it.
Or ask PepsiOtaku for a plugin that let's you specifically define placement and facing right/left of monsters and heroes mid-game. Though, the game object RPG::BattleParameters (**reinterpret_cast[...]*> **>(0x4CDD38)) seems to be absent, so... it's hard to determine which encounter type was launched.
