SMASH BROS ASSIT TROPHIES

I'm really satisfied with the current roster for the new Smash.well I still want Ridley but oh well.I got Shulk to play as and that was my number one pick so I'm pretty happy.Riki is happy happy

So instead I thought lets talk about possible Assist trophies we already know what they are for 3DS but maybe the WiiU version has more.

Personally, I want Xenoblade's Reyn as an assist trophy. He can do the WILD DOWN on an opponent and topple them. It would work like Diddy Kong's banana peel except it would not only make the opponent fall but also do a great deal of damage. After Reyn attacks before he exits he should say: "Good thing I'm here. No? Anyone?"

Another one could be Vivian from Paper Mario. He/She could hide you from the next upcoming attack from the enemy.

If you have a fun idea for an assist trophy post it here.

I’m still pretty happy with the roster overall if there isn’t any supposive DLC or anymore additional characters on the Wii U version. I would still love to play as Dixie Kong, Ridley or Lloyd Irving, but having Mega Man, Little Mac and having Dr. Mario, my Melee main return, in there are still pretty good.

As for some made-up assist trophies:

  • Bass(Mega Man series)
Shows up, jumps around the stage, similar to Elec Man, and shoots his Bass buster in multiple directions causing chip damage while stunning opponents in place.

  • Boom-Boom(Mario series)
Remember this thing from Super Mario Bros. 3? Yeah, pretty much works the exact same way, wings and all.

  • Tetris Blocks(Tetris series)
Falling blocks are falling down. RUN!

  • Eggplant Wizard(Kid Icarus series)
Anybody who gets close enough to the Eggplant Wizard will get transformed into Eggplants. In this form, you cannot attack or use any specials and your overall defence to high level smash attacks will decrease. However, your overall speed will heighten a bit slightly. After a couple of seconds, you’ll revert back to normal.

  • Tecmo Bowl(Tecmo Bowl series)
Similar to Pong, a little mini-game of Tecmo Bowl will break out for a little while. Avoid getting hit by footballs and any incoming football players in the meantime.

  • Pitfall Larry(Pitfall series)
Not only do you have to avoid getting smashed around by this little guy, but you also have to avoid falling into those pits and going and being trapped underneath the stage.

  • Kunckles(Sonic series)
Similar to Kunckle Joe from Kirby (who’s also an assist trophy), Kunckles will do a quick three hit punch combo, uppercut, and then pound the ground to send any foe that are on the ground flying.

  • Snow Bros.(Snow Bros. series)
These chilly brothers will entrap various players into gigantic snowballs and freeze them in place. If the snowball gets big enough, you can push them off the stage yourself and send them to their doom.
Bomberman

I don't know who Shehulk is. But it fucking pisses me off that WII FIT TRAINER is getting an Amiibo, but Luigi ISN'T. Like wtf.

Here was my preferred roster:
Mario, Luigi, Link, Fox, Bowser, Cpt. Falcon, Donkey Kong, Ganondorf, Ike, King Dedede, Kirby, Ness, Pikachu, Pit, Samus, Sonic, Yoshi, Megaman, Simon Belmont, Bomberman, Master Higgins, Toad, Sam (from Super Dodgeball), Captain N, Birdo

I hate roster bloat, and I had never heard of Fire Emblem before Brawl, so fuck 'em.

PacMan and Lil Mac were cool additions, though. Rosalina sounds cool, too. But basically this is just MEGAMAN ft. Smash Bros., The Game to me.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Fire Emblem games are amazing and are also RPGs, what is wrong with you? If you hadn't heard of them before Brawl it's because you blocked Smash Bros. Melee out of your memory for some reason, because Marth and Roy were in Melee.

If you hadn't heard of them before Melee it's because the first Fire Emblem game to be translated to English was released two years after Melee, so that's extremely normal. They started releasing them in English due to the popularity of the characters in Smash Bros. That was eleven years ago though, and there are now seven of them in English, and four of those (the original "Fire Emblem" for the GBA and the 3D games) are totally amazing games that I'm pretty sure you would enjoy the hell out of.

That said there's not much that the Smash Bros. characters have in common with the way the characters play in the original games. Like, they use swords I guess. That's the extent of the similarities. Their fighting style isn't quite as totally-made-up as Captain Falcon, but they could have made it a lot more accurate.

Also. Man. Not knowing who Shehulk is doesn't even make sense. Like, the name is self-explanatory.
I'd like Saki (Sin & Punishment) to NOT be an assist trophy and instead be a playable character... ;_;
Maybe make Leda the obnoxious rodent (also S&P) an assist trophy. Pops up, makes that god-awful "NYAA!! ~_~" sound, then drops a shitload of bombs.

I hope Namco at least puts in a Dragon Spirit/Saber assist trophy or item (maybe the random power-up eggs).

Didn't have a Gamecube nor did I know anyone who did. Never played Melee. Also, I didn't own a portable gaming system until I got a DS, and that was for DQIX.

Also, apparently it's some chick named Shulk and not Shehulk?

I'm sorry, Kentona. Your gamer title is being revoked. Go downtown and turn in your neckbeard.
I'm just that old.

I was once with it. Then they changed what it was. Now what I am with isn't it anymore, and what is it is weird and scary to me.

I saw Nightmare, Sable Prince, and the Pac-Man ghosts as assist trophies in the leak of Super Smash Bros. 3DS. This is all I needed.

I'm only disappointed with the fact that a recolor of Pit was treated as a different character in the final roster. Bomberman, Tails, The Dragon Quest Slime, or maybe even the Elder Scrolls Dragonborn (probably not likely) would have been better picks.
Rocket Slime would have been hella fun to play
Here's one:
Makkun (Sutte Hakkun -- yes, its a Nintendo game)

(The dog thing)

One of five different kinds of Makkun come out. They all share the property of being impassable "blocks".
1) Clear: Just stands still, doing random flips on occasion for no reason.
2) Blue: Walks left and right
3) Red: Acts as a Spring
4) Yellow: Periodically ground-pounds. Effect could be like either Venasaur or Metagross.
5) Purple: Rare. Grabs a nearby player and whisks them to the sky, except rather than initiating a race it just KO's them.
