ENSEN SUCKS AT PIXEL ART

I plan on covering for my team's pixel artist when he is overwhelmed by his personal life, so I figured I start learning how to do pixel art. These are my first attempts at pixel art please give me some constructive criticisms. Any url to a detailed guide would be fantastic. With this I humbly sneak into this community :D
