Ilan is trying hard to prove his innocence, this isn't face to face, we have time to compose our answers, his hard attempts show he feels he might have said something to get suspicion on himself and as a town would rather over explain why he is innocent. That's my own interpretation anyway.
Gourd is town because he is never a good bad guy.

It's a very weak one, but I had no idea what to say about him, so I went with whatever evidence I could come up with, I wouldn't take it with a grain of salt, he could very well be the assassin.

I was joking about the quote thing, the point of it was
A) Happy obvs. doesn't have town's best interest in mind and
B) We shouldn't be too concerned with Happy right now (esp. if Happy is a jester)

I agree with Mr. SuNa that Ilan probably just made a mistake and is desperately trying to fix it. This game seems like the kind of place that a mere Freudian slip can cause major suspicion. Then again, it could be an act, which is why I don't just take him for granted. Again, I reserve judgment.
Again, Cave's case against Ivoryjones is strong, but she may literally not have the time to defend against this game with her schedule. This seems like a major handicap and maybe she should've thought twice about joining a mafia game with it.

Nothing has made him suspicious, but nothing has made him crystal clear, I'm not saying we lynch him, I'm just saying I don't rule him out despite I said I think he's town

LMAO ok ok so someone, who probably only have 1 or so hours of internet, is ok to join but not me'?? fyi I'm in Hong Kong so day is night over there. Timezones or schedule shouldn't stop someone from joining.
