RMN FAMILY TREE

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Mr_SuNa's introduction post got me thinking... Who has introduced who to this website? What is the chain of causality that links all users of this fine game-making establishment?
I want to try to create some sort of family tree that shows who was introduced to RMN by whom. To that extent:
1: If any, what people have you referred to this website?
2: If you haven't found RMN by yourself, who has referred you to it?
In my case: I have referred three people to RMN, my friend Platinum Ashes, who wanted to play mafia games, my little brother Bart_Sol, and another friend fightertjuh, who I coerced into creating an account for playing one of my mafia games, but when I didn't need any more participants, he dropped out and never touched his account again.
I found this website by myself after discovering rpgmaker, so I wasn't introduced by anyone.

I'm not sure how many people I've introduced as I've mentioned the site in more than a few of my LP/Ts and on other sites in threads (just in passing) or sites like tumblr.
I found the website when GW was dying but forgot about it and eventually signed up some time after GW was dead. I think a friend from GW named it as a site they were going to but I can't remember who it was - they also recommended Monkey Island forums or something like that but I found RMN a lot more to my liking so I stayed here instead.

I wonder who...
So far, I've introduced two friends to rally up member for my Mafia: Takyon and TheoDutch. But neither has stayed active afterwards.
I have no RMN family. :(
I was referred here by Google. And haven't referred anybody (since I don't think anyone I know would actually join... also, I'm not sure if I'd want them here, anyway).
And nobody has adopted me as a bratty, but very adorable e-child.

I don't remember how I first heard about RMN. I used to be a member of GamingWorld back in the day, but I don't know how I decided to make the switch over.
I think I wasn't referred by anyone in particular, but I had been going to GamingW and a smaller community I was running myself, which Liberty and Tau were part of, so when other places were dying up and I saw familiar faces here I became an active member.
I mean, around that time GamingW started to seem to be pretty meh about the game making aspect, and a lot of prolific developers showed up at RMN, so it seemed like the place where you wanted to be. Other alternatives were the new generation XP/VX sites, but they seemed to have more of new userbase, rather than carry the legacy.
Maybe someone had a link in their signature in Gaming World? I dunno.

My sister (Irili on here) is the one who introduced me to RPG Maker, and also the one who showed me this magical realm known as RMN.
Craze sent me a PM on GW telling me about a cool new game making site called RMN. I joined later that day.
Shortly thereafter I sent WIP a PM asking if I could be an administrator. The worst decision he ever made!

I used to be really into RM 95 and then RM 2k3, and I needed scripting help for my big epic RPG, so I signed up for the forums! I don't think I've drawn anyone else here...

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

At first, I put my games up on a personal website that got zero traffic, and wasn't particularly stable to begin with. I may have joined a Yahoo group, but it went nowhere. Exasperated, I used Google, and RMN was, like, the first hit.
As for getting others here, I've talked to people about RMN. However, with the responses I've been getting, I'm 99.999% sure that nobody I know in RL is on here.

No idea. It was nearly five years ago, after all. XD Yes, I joined back in 2009, but didn't become properly active until about a year or so ago ( coincided with my ever decreasing activity over at RMW; before then I was over at rmvx.net ). This place is just more fun, tbh.
I -think- it was Nessiah? Could be wrong. I was on gamingw, angry at the descent it was taking, and slightly falling in favour of the anti-RPGMaker movement. It was a weird time. I liked rpgmaker still, but had no home for it. The general feeling about RMN back then wasn't favorable, and I do recall having myself convinced to try it out anyway. No regrets. This place is better than GW ever was.
author=AlphaOmega247I'll adopt you, kiddo.

Edit: I'll be like a drunk, inattentive step dad who tells you to now the RTP lawn.
Ooooh, I've always wanted a drunk, inattentive step dad hounding me to things I have no intention of doing! If you want the RTP taken care of, do it yourself!
