CloseHey guys, recently in an accident, which gave me the time to pick up the programme again and rekindle my love for it (not to mention story development and character design etc!). I am currently crowdfunding on kickstarter and just wish for you to look. promote and pledge if you wish.
I know there are a lot of people who look down on kickstarter, if you are one of these people, you do not have to pledge or promote or help me at all, it is designed for people to help if they WANT to, noone is forced to :) there are no hard feelings, i just want to make the best game possible with a couple of firends, and felt this was the b est way to go ahead with custom graphics/sounds etc.So sorry if i offend you, no harm meant.

If you want people to look at your page, pretty this one up. Details, images, etc - sell your product, else I'll be locking this topic as spam. You have 24 hours.
Honestly, you've told us nothing about your project at all, you have given people no reason to click your link. Let me get my list of musts.
When asking for aid or advertising off-site games you MUST include at least as much information as someone who is creating a game page.
For Advertisers there must be:
- At least 300 words describing the game.
- 5+ screenshots.
- A link to their off-site game and/or demo for people to try.
- Information about what you hope to achieve (in the case of Kickstarter or commercialising).
In the case that a thread doesn't abide by these rules I will ask that it be updated. If after 24 hours it hasn't been, then I will move said topic to the Archives. I will not lock, so that the creator has the chance to edit and once edited, they may contact Liberty via PM and, if it meets the new rules, it will be moved back to the correct area.
In the case of rejection, topic spam will be met with warnings and/or bans, as per the site rules.

There are way too many ifs, too many question marks, for me to feel inclined to even consider helping. As Liberty said, you need to show off some more substance. People don't back ideas, they back prototypes and promising projects that they know can go further with funding.

The information is crap, plus the video doesn't say anything about what type of game it's supposed to be. The video is also 100% rtp, even though you supposedly are in contact with 4 "artists".
At least your asking goal is low. That's good (because you might fool enough kids with no sense of what a good game is into giving enough money, very smart).

People who crowdfund with kickstarter have effectively sold out to their own ego. Trust me, your game is probably not worth buying.
Trust me, for I've printed a book. Which nobody will buy.

Oh, and I just want to add, that there's nothing wrong with crowd-funding like Kickstarter and the like, if you put in the effort to make your dream a reality. Otherwise we wouldn't allow topics for such in the first place. So, please people, don't get down on someone just because they're trying to create something to be sold. Instead, give them your support and help them out as you would someone making a game for free.
