[RMVX ACE] MAKING A LEARNED SKILL TRIGGER BASED ON A CERTAIN STAT.

Ok. This one may be a bit complicated, but I'm curious to know if it is possible. If not, no worries.

If anyone has played Fire Emblem: Awakening, there are some characters that have skills that are used instead of his/her normal attack for that turn. The skill's chance to activate is based on the character's skill stat. Is it possible to do something similar to this in VX Ace using a stat like, say, the LUK stat? Or is there a script out there that does this?

Huge, ginormous props to anyone who can solve this for me!

It's certainly possible. You'd just call something like
return unless rand > (battler.luk * 0.01)

in the code you're writing for the skill you want to trigger.

The only reason you have to multiply LUK by 0.01 is because "rand" gives you a random decimal between 0.0 and 1.0. So, using this example, your LUK stat would be your chance out of 100 to trigger the skill.
