Exactly what's in the title. I need a artist who can draw monsters and character faces, a fairly good mapper, and a spriter who can, well, sprite. The engine being used is RPGmaker VX Ace.
I need people who work for free, as I am broke.

No, I have not made any games before, and the game I am currently making is sort-of paying homage to the Final Fantasy series of RPGs.
There's plenty of people out there who'd work for free. Of course, they generally do so if they're interested in your project. For that, they'd need details...

Don't ridicule me, Mr. McGee.
@Nivlacart: Yup.
@Kaijira: Yeah, you're probably right. Hmmm. That's going to be troublesome.

Listen, since somehow staff haven't told you this (they're usually pretty good about doing it promptly) then I will...if you want people to provide this level of help with your game, you're going to need to include a lot more information about your game to entice them.
Like a lot, lot, LOT, LOT, LOT more information.

Why is giving details going to be troublesome? Look at it from an outside perspective. Would you want to devote hours and hours to a project when you know nothing about it?
@McGee: Yeah, I know.
@unity: Everything's just a bit hard to explain, but I can see where you are coming from.

Isn't it against the rules to do this shit? This "request" is terrible.
Hey guys make my game for me I can't pay you!

Game designers do this all the time. The idea guys have to start somewhere.
Aliquis, seeing as you're a total beginner game designer, you're going to have to know a bit of... 'etiquette', shall we say?
Like, chances are, nobody would want to do high quality work for free. If you do want someone who would do work for you for free, you are going to have to put your idea out there. You may be afraid of idea theft or whatever, but chances are, in a dev forum like this? Everyone's too busy with their own ideas to be concerned with yours, unless you're cocky enough to assume that you, as a beginner game designer, has an idea so GOLD that everyone who jump at the chance to steal it.
If that's the case, we've Game Developers honor, we'd rather improve our own ideas to battle yours down, or it might convince people to jump onto your bandwagon and help you. This isn't piratebay.
And starting out, you should probably learn to make games on your own first. Working together with you is not viable at all if you have no experience under your belt. Nobody knows if you have any skills, whether you'd pull through or vanish midway through the project. You need to prove your reliability by producing stuff, it IS possible on your own with RPG Maker. You're not doing a AAA game.
And if you're planning on getting skilled people just so they can do your work for you, saying that your valuable 'skill' is ideas, well, GOOD LUCK to you. Because guess what, everyone has ideas. That artist has ideas. That mapper has ideas. That coder has ideas. If you have no skills, get to the back of the line. Don't even get cocky with the idea that you could be an 'idea specialist'. A professional term for that is Game Designer, the guy who does the mechanics of the game, and there's a lot more you have to do in that job than sit back and dish out roles for everyone.
Good luck to you starting out on your journey as a game dev, but a friendly word of advice, this is definitely the wrong way to start off. If you're really so inclined to work with people, get some friends irl. But still, honestly, it really is better for you to try and make one game on your own, it'll awaken some knowledge within you about games development.

Yeah, I'm aware. I meant that I'm pretty certain it was against the rules to ask for that stuff without any reference to your own talent or accomplishments. Maybe that's just for Kickstarters though.
Regardless, it's bad practice to ask for this stuff if you've never designed any games before. Especially to ask for it free of charge.
