Congratulations, Real Men Network! After careful calculations, and not to mention money laundering a massive amount of healthy donations and adsense revenue from one of the world’s greatest independent game making sites and selling off all of its creative assets to rich oil tycoons, Kenton Anderson, our glorious leader, has finally made the smart move for the future of this business and finally purchased himself a major league sports franchise. But with so many disposable options at his disposal – which one of them should he buy?

It’s up to you to decide.

Which one of these *sarcastic tone* “amazing teams” have the best chance of turning themselves around in a short time frame into a legitimate champion?

You must choose now...for the sake of the future...

There's no option for not caring... :(

He'd buy a hockey team...

I’m only picking Cleveland because they have, at least, some hope with Manziel being there and with them currently sitting deadlocked with the other teams in their division. Still, it is an absolute mess...perfect for Kentona! :D

Trust me... He wouldn’t want that particular hockey team listed above.
I'd buy the hockey team

The Cubs, obviously. Buy low, sell high!

The Cubs tend to have a solid team each year. Unfortunately, coming close isn't good enough. They very nearly made it to the 2006 World Series. Unfortunately, it was St. Louis that went. I'm from St. Louis. Go Cardinals.

Buy the hockey team.

Edit: But of course, when St. Louis got the Rams, they were the losing-est team in in NFL history. The next year, the won the Superbowl...

Buy the hockey team.
I know nothing about the hockey team or the others, but I do know kentona enough to know what he'd pick. All you have to do is be here when hockey is going down in Canada and it's not a hard guess to make. XD

(As for me, I'd pick only a real football team. No, I'm not talking Rugby/Rules or Soccer. There's only one real football in the world and neither are it (seeing as they have alternate names and the one I'm referencing is only ever called football)). :D

It's also the 'hardest' of the three, with a lot of physical contact, no padding, lots of jumping, kicking, tackling, scrummage, falling, hand-eye co-ordination and running involved (while bouncing an oblong-shaped ball).
I'd just like a warm place to spend the winter, tbh. Plus I don't know the other teams/sports all that well.

Sad to see that there are no CFL teams there. Or even MLS.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

So you're not actually playing the majority of the game with your feet, then? Meaning it isn't football, like the sport some might call soccer, but just another form of rugby.
Move the Coyotes to Regina. Get a hockey team from ocean to ocean!

Why just limit it to American/Canadian franchises? Something wrong with the rest of the world of sport?
wait. they play sports in other parts of the world now?

Nope, because there's a lot of kicking.
You can only run a small distance 'bouncing' the ball before you have to pass it on - either by kicking it very, very far (and having people catch it (mark) or run after it as it bounce around like a rubber ball on go-go juice) or by sort-of-but-not-really-punching it - which is basically short passing. Those are the only two ways to pass the ball to the next person and require a lot of skill to do correctly.

To gain points you have to kick the ball between goal posts. Thing is, if you kick it through the outer two you only get one point. If you get it through the middle two you will get 6 points.

Basically, it's a lot of running, jumping, tackling (but not really because that's how you foul, however it's also a legit tactic if you do it right), punching (balls, not faces, though faces too if they get in the way of the ball), kicking (the ball, not bodies, though bodies too if they get in the way of the ball) and catching (by jumping up on people or being in the right place to catch the ball).

It's a great sport.

Dude, it's a requirement that mediocrity and the Detroit Lions be mentioned in the same sentence. Granted, they're having a pretty good year so far, but they've had 6-2 starts before, only to finish 6-10. And let's not forget the infamous 0-16 season a few years back.

St. Louis beat the Detroit Tigers that year. I'm from (just north of) Detroit. St. Louis sucks. :P
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

There has to be an RPG themed sports team out there somewhere. Houston Heroes? Auburn Adventurers? Mississippi State Demon Lords? Atlanta Drow Elves?

Orlandu Magic might be the closest you'll get, unless you want to buy a League of Legends team.
Washington Wizards...?

Yeah, I didn’t put any CFL or MLS teams on there because, frankly, besides maybe Chivas USA (which is exactly folding next year, lol), there really aren’t any “bad teams” from either of those leagues. I can’t count the Ottawa Redblacks because this is their first year back in the league, so naturally they're going to suck. :/

This I would exactly love.

I don’t why Saskatchewan doesn’t have an NHL team. Maybe it has something to with the lack of people living out there and all the bad weather that they get, but there should be enough people and interest to at least support a team there.

I was originally thinking about putting them on here besides the Cleveland Browns, along with possibly the Buffalo Bills as another fine candidate, but both of those teams have been turning it around as of lately in the last few years, so off the list they stay. :)

And as for Rugby, or something like the English Premier League, I don’t know too much about either one of them to pick somebody for the list. I’m sure there’s a shitty team that’s worthy of being put up there, though.
