Not perceiving that your race--which I honestly did not know!--added an additional layer of irony is not really a fault on my part! I am sure that people of all stripes exist on the internet but you sure can't SEE what race someone is through the internet so I kind of just assume everyone is the same color as their user title. You're dark blue, Liberty is green, and kentona is red.

Well this is definitely a case of "this was all stupid" but before I carry on I just want to be perfectly clear because the ambiguity of the internet and the room it leaves for misunderstanding frightens me:
I only said it was ironic that I imagined Samuel L. Jackson saying it, because I imagined Samuel L. Jackson saying it, in defense of someone wearing a shirt saying 'KILL ALL BROWN PEOPLE'. Samuel L. Jackson is a brown person. Your race, which I never even considered let alone hold any assumptions about, did not inform this irony.
And I only imagined Samuel L. Jackson saying it because, you know...Snakes on a Plane: "HE HELPED LAND A MOTHERFUCKING PROBE ON A MOTHERFUCKING COMET!" (I changed "motherfreaking" to "motherfucking" in my mind on reading.)
At no point did your race inform my comment or did I think about it at all until you brought it up. This is because I have no freaking clue, let alone any assumptions, what race/skin color anyone on RMN is...except that I am pretty sure that Feld is black (as is IIRC FinalDragon/Iishenron), AznChipmunk is Asian (and possibly a chipmunk?) kentona is a Canadoid and WIP is a robot built from crystallized hate.

Haha, your race honestly didn't even cross my mind but I guess that makes a lot of sense. (I guess I just assumed that you were making the point that it didn't matter WHAT the shirt said, i.e. it could have said 'KILL ALL JEWS' etc.)
Okay, but the point stands that when I wrote "Brown people" your mind immediately jumped to "Samuel L Jackson" for some reason. As long as you're aware of the issues it's all good, though.

This might be a bit much but...then again I'm not sure. It just seems so fucking retarded that he had to apologize for wearing a shirt. I mean I know he didn't HAVE to apologize. Like no one put a gun to his head. But the fact that there's a cultural climate where he actually felt like he SHOULD apologize for wearing a shirt is even worse in a way.
This might be a bit much... xD While I agree with the overall sentiment of this thread that "political correctness", "SJWs", ""feminists"", or whatchuwannacallit, can sometimes get a bit out of hand; I think is important to 'respect' other people's choices no matter why they made them. I mean, if this guy's job was not really in jeopardy, but he still felt necessary to apologize, then I'm Ok with it. Even if he cried and everything (maybe he's really that empathic a person), I'm still Ok with it...
I think it's Ok when people say "you SHOULD do X" because I have no doubt they genuinely believe that's the best thing to do. And until that point is just a suggestion. Is when they say "You MUST do X or else!!!" when it starts becoming a problem... It's not cool to conditionate other people's decisions, but it's also not cool to second-guess them.

Speaking of "SJWs" though. I love that acronym. Every time I see it, my mind can't help but to read "SSJ" instead or think of the "Z-warriors". And all because DBZ is such a guilty-pleasure of mine. xD So when I read the quote above I just lost it! Hahaha! Hahahahahaha... ugh. u_u

Trolling aside, the t-shirt is in poor taste for a broadcast that the entire world is going to see. Regardless, I find it highly disturbing that he broke down and cried while apologizing over a shirt. From seeing the video of his apology, I don't believe it was an act.
Even worse, this issue has death threats involved. Well, not really, unless being told to kill yourself or jump off a cliff constitutes as a death threat. All we need is another #feelinthedamnblank-gate for people to bitch and dick about for the next several weeks. Fuck!
