It's that time of year again, folks! Time to get your share on~
What is this?
Why, it's Secret Santa, of course!
What, pray-tell, is this 'Secret Santa' thing?
It's a simple thing, really. You throw your name in the proverbial hat and get one in return. You are that person's Secret Santa and, as the name suggests, you must keep the name secret from anyone! Then, before the due date below, you get them a present. On Christmas Eve, you will receive a gift from your own Secret Santa and happy fun times are had by all~
So, how do you get in on this action, you ask?
Easy! Just give a holler in a comment below before the cut-off date. Simple, eh?
Rules are as follows:
- First rule of Secret Santa club. Don't talk about Secret Santa club.
- Second rule of Secret Santa club. See rule #1.
- Sign up below by leaving a comment that lets me know you're joining in.
- The cut-off date for joining is the 12th of December.
- You will have until the 23rd of December to send me via PM the gift for your Secret Santa.
- Do not tell anyone who you got until at least the 26th of December.
- Your gift may be one of the following - a review, something artsy, an LP or LT.
- If you have another idea for a gift, PM me and I'll let you know if it's fine.
- If you suddenly need to drop out, PM me ASAP and I'll do some rearrangements. It would be preferable that you don't drop out, though.
- You must have a game profile on the site. Collaborations and helpers count - as long as you can call a game yours in some small way, it will count. If you don't actually have a game profile yourself, nominating one works I guess.
How to submit
- For video submissions, use a free-hosting video site like VideoBam, flikr, Break, GorillaVid, Veoh and DailyMotion.
- Send me the link via PM before the due date.
- For reviews and artsy stuffs, send me the text/etc of the reviews/etc via PM before the due date.
- Do not add your reviews, arts or videos to the site until at least the 26th.

Edit: Well I haven't heard so I'll go with the old silence is consent maxim. I can't see anyone being upset about getting a present/feedback on a game here.
Artsy is fine. If you do decide on something a bit more artsy, just treat it like a review - post it to me via PM on the due date and don't add it up until the 26th.

Since my avatar is dressed up like Santa, I might as well do something Santa-y. Count me in!
This on top of RMN PLAYS? I dunno. I mean, I usually try to participate, but this month is already feeling clogged with events. And I ain't talkin' RMN-based ones!

My present sucked last time(the one I gave out) so I'm gonna sit this one out :/
I don’t have a game submitted to the site as of yet so I can’t really participate in this. (Darn.) But I do have a “special present” that I would like to give to someone here around that time. So I’m, like, really technically in, but I’m really technically not, if that makes any sense.
Maybe next year I’ll be able to fully participate in this. But in the meantime, good luck to everyone else that’s involved. :)

As I said, I am flexible. If you want to nominate a game as 'your' one then that'd be fine too. I doubt anyone would say no to a review or something, even if they didn't sign up for a Secret Santa (since you'd be doing the Santa part for them).
