BI-MONTHLY GAME CHAT -{DEC/JAN}-

So, someone pointed out that there's precious little game chat in the forums. Most of the time people talk about games on the game pages and that's fine - that's what they're for!
However, it can be hard to talk on game pages about games when no-one else is talking back. That can make it difficult to get a good chat going. So I figure, let's try something new!
Every two months a new topic will appear in these forums. In it, you can point out neat games that you tried out recently on the site and draw attention to them. Maybe people will check them out. Maybe not.
After all, part of our job as creators is to do research into good and bad game design~ and what better way than to play some games, eh?
Note that this isn't to actually discuss the games, but to point out interesting games to others who may have missed them. If you like the sound of a game, go check out its game page and chat there!
There are a few rules (that might be added to depending on how this goes. It's an experiment at the moment.)
- Don't promote your own game here. Bad! No! This is for players to point out a neat game they played, not for you to promote yourself.
- Provide a small synopsis of the game. What did you like, why should others play it, why is it good?
- Provide a link. Only on-site games, please!
I'll see about updating the second post with links and descriptions for easy findings. Try not to overwork me please. ;.;

GAMES
Unity suggests Scaredy Cat
Scaredy Cat is a cute, short RPG adventure starring Mia, a cat spirit, who can't admit her feelings to her best friend. This game is super cute, really pretty, and a lot of fun! I really liked all the characters and the home town with unique houses designed around who lives there.
The battles are a little rough and unpolished, but despite that, the game is really nice and gave me plenty of fun and warm fuzzies :3
I played this game a little less than a month ago and totally fell in love with it!
Red_Nova recommends Graceless Reminisce
Graceless Reminisce is an RPG that is heavily focused on story. Only the prologue is available as of this post, but it's packed with great custom systems and visual/audio design choices to deliver a very atmospheric intro that sets a high standard for the rest of the game.
The battles themselves, while visually impressive, aren't as engaging as they could be. The tried and true, "Use strongest attack" method that plagues most RPGs nowadays make up the entirely of the battles. However, nitpicking this game is missing the forest for the trees, as the whole is much greater than the sum of its parts.
NeverSilent suggests Illusions of Loyalty
Illusions of Loyalty is a dark fantasy RPG that focuses primarily on strategic (and, depending on your settings, quite difficult) combat and a somewhat uncomfortable plot. Follow Captain Julius Logan and his trusted (?) allies on an unusual mission that is complex both in the actual and ethical sense.
If you like games with in-depth battles that force you to think, and stories that do the same but on a different level, this game was made for you. Also, really well-written characters and multiple endings await you.
Red_Nova
Sir Redd of Novus: He who made Prayer of the Faithless that one time, and that was pretty dang rad! :D

In it, you can point out neat new games
So it's like the New and Notable section on the front page, but we get to choose it? If we can find a hidden gem somewhere that didn't get a lot of discussion, can we put it here anyway?
Seems like a cool idea regardless!
Well, new to you. It can be an old game, but you have to have played it recently. But hey, new games too!
Fixed to be more clear in OP.

This is a great idea, Liberty! Let me add one to the list.
