Hehe, well... I feel like this needed a topic!
Here's an idea of my own.
A horror game where you're the monster

A Vantage Point style narrative about the apocalypse. The game begins with Jesus the Saviour coming on the clouds (the game is fiction, you don't have to be Christian to enjoy this) and then flashbacks to the lives of each person doing their daily lives, each story leading back to that moment. I don't know why I'd want this, except for the fact that the Rapture is one really epicly graphic event and it brings a sense of horror and awe in me that I can't express.

An RPG with procedurally generated puzzles instead of battles. I think Puzzle Quest did something like this.

A quest-based RPG set within a single town.

An interactive story where you just get presented with binary choices that branch out into a ginormous tree of possible events. I should still do this.
An adventure game based around grief, loss, hurt and the inability to forgive.

Another adventure-y game with possible rpg mechanics about an adolescent trying to reconcile her old perception of her parents with new discoveries about them.

Why would anybody give away their game ideas for free?
It would be pretty miraculous/bizarre if someone not only stole your idea, but then was able to turn it into exactly the game you'd conceived of.

I have more ideas than time to ever finish them all.

Like the one where the characters party together, fall in love, have kids, die, and then you level up the kids, and continue forever like a game of sim city.

Or one where you recruit people as you play and if someone dies they are killed off for good and the next person in the party becomes the "main character" and continues the main story quest. If everyone dies, it's game over and your save file is deleted.

Yeah, some people don't really mind. I would personally find it an honour for someone to create a game that I came up with. Plus, ideas come to me all the time. Its easy to come up with ideas - hard to make them actually work .
Most of the game ideas I have are ones that I'd like to play so even if I wouldn't make it, being able to play it... well, that'd be great~

A game focussed around pokemon daycare. Kind of like a dating/raising simulation game - so, you'd have to try and find good combinations of pokemon then have them breed and raise the young ones up until they're old enough to go off with their owners. Bonus points if you get to choose the gender of your daycare-person (you) and get to pursue one of the regular trainers as a love interest~

Basically pokemon breeding harvest moon. XD

I like this thread. That said, I wish some of you would be more specific about the ideas you're tossing out.

I've got nothing to add right now. It almost seems like every time I think of an idea it immediately becomes a game. That's why I've got so many projects that are cancelled or on "hiatus". Just look at all of 'em!

Why not? Ideas are cheap.
Most ideas don't get all that fleshed out. A lot of the ideas I get go into my main project, but some aren't compatible and don't go anywhere.
A traditional rpg game played in the perspective of the monsters, fighting for their lives, as the OP player plows through and invades their homes.
