CloseYeah. A quest board. LIke the ones in "Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift". With Story Quests and Side Quests. And when you select a quest, they teleport you to an area, where you complete the quest.

Make sure you're on the event layer.
Double click on any tile.
Double click in the contents box.
Look at the three pages of event commands.
Experiment with them.
Figure out what they do.
Learn to use them in concert.

I don't mean to sound like the crotchety old grump I am, but sometimes the answer to a question is totally just "learn to use RPG Maker".
