-Add 6 party battle
-Add parts from suikoden tactics
-Give characters more story depth
-Make game into 2D (Suikoden 2 style or a new one?)
Suikoden is my favorite RPG series of all time! But Suikoden IV was a bit of a disappointment after the original Suikoden creator left Konami during Suikoden III. After I release Final Fantasy 7 Demo which should be soon, I was thinking about starting a big project. When it comes to the Suikoden Series vs the Final Fantasy Series, in my opinion, Suikoden is the best. I want to help Suikoden IV by giving it what I believe lacked.
Sprites I created:

I don't have physic abilities, but I already know what the response to this will be.
Cool sprites, bro.

Thanks Link!
No, I'm almost done with the demo, around 70%. I need Barret, and Jessie battle animation, 2 more maps, some enemies, boss, and limit break. But depending on the reaction the game gets will decide the games fate. If the game gets a negative reaction I might just leave it as Final Fantasy 7 The Bombing Mission, lol. If It gets a good reaction I will continue it for sure. At the moment I am focused on releasing the demo, but I am interested in doing a Suikoden IV reboot in the future. The idea sounds nice.

Why those ones? /all of my hate
Funny story - I hated Snowe's character so much that I had to actively force myself not to kill him on my second playthrough just so I could get the good ending. I couldn't stop myself the first time.
IV is the worst of the series. The only characters that were any good were Kika, Mitsuba and Silverberg. The rest can all die in a fire. Well, okay, Lino was cool but all the rest? Die. (Uh, minus Jeane and Viki and Ted. But they don't count as new cast members. They're returning characters.)
That said, it had some great minigames.

The game had potential, but it was rushed. I hated the fact that the 6 party was taken out along with S,M,L. The game didn't feel like suikoden. I was planning on making the knights. Tal, Kenneth, Paula, etc.
I agree, snowe was annoying... they could had done mote with him and troy. Although suikoden 4 was a disappointment I beat the game like 5 times. I wish it was a better game, I guess I like suikoden to much.

Not to dissolve this enthusiasm for gam mak, but, how about having a complete game under your belt?
Okay, lemme back up for a spell. I guess the question I have is how far do you intend to go with your FF7 demake before you consider it "done"? Or, how far you intend to so with this demake before you consider it "done"?
