WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING?

Yabbies? That's an odd name. I'd have called them chazzwazzers!

Also, I have seen Disney's Robin Hood about 17 times in the last week and a half. Still every bit as good as it was the first time! The intro music is the best.

Dang, I haven't seen that^ in forever. Nostalgia!

I just finished Fate/Zero, which was pretty good! The characters were interesting and the fights were all entertaining, but damn was the ending depressing. I get why they call him Urobutcher now... I think there were like three back-to-back scenes of women getting choked to death ;-_-
I'm watching various episodes of the Cinema Snob on Blip.
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia

Charlie is fucking gold lmao

I EAT STICKERS ALL THE TIME, DUDE
I recently watched the first episode of Star vs. The Forces of Evil. I've never heard of this show until today. This reminds me that I should watch more TV often.

I was sick all weekend and started watching Game of Thrones, since people have been pestering me about it for years. I knew I'd like it, but... dang, I am really enjoying it. Drama, politics, and anyone can die!

My wife and I are currently alternating between Blue Exorcist and House M.D. while we wait for the next seasons of My Little Pony and Game of Thrones to start. We also got a couple episodes of the new season of Brooklyn Nine Nine to watch.
I was unpleasantly surprised by the ending of Lie to Me* - damn series was cut mid-season meaning it ended unresolved. :< Decent show but I found myself non-engaged (good fir filling background noise but I wasn't big on the characters or their stories. :/ )

And I just remembered why I was hesitant to pick up Cold Case again after all these years - first episode and I'm already legit crying over fictional characters. Can't be helped, the series is brilliant at picking the music for the last scenes. I remember now why I stopped watching - I'd come home after going out and caught the last 10 minutes of an episode and got so annoyed by how ridiculous it was that I hadn't even seen the freaking story but was still crying in the last scene. I didn't know these fucking characters but I was still crying. >.<;

Yeah, I cry easily. :/

On another note, The 100 is actually pretty decent for a post-apocalyptic teen drama type show. The characters are interesting, even though I've wanted to bop a few of 'em on the head for decisions they've made, and the politics are decent so far. The story is basically that Earth fell to nuclear disaster and the last of the human race have been living on a space station. When life support starts to fail, they decide to check to see if the world habitable again, and send 100 juvenile delinquents to check it out - no loss if they die since criminals that reach age of adulthood are floated (killed) when they do something wrong. But yeah, it's a mix of Lord of the Flies with low-grade sci-fi and survivalist. I'd love for them to explore their environs a bit more but so far it's been interesting.
I've found myself actually not being able to use it as 'background' filler because I got too invested in watching the damn thing, so I can't just binge watch like I normally would. I gotta watch each episode and pay attention to them when I do. It's been a long time since I've had to do that with a series (well, aside from Leverage, but that show is golden, so...)

Probably gonna use Cold Case as my background filler (even with the inconvenient tearfests at the end of each episode :/ ) and take my time to watch The 100. Since 100 is still ongoing, once I catch up to it I might start on Babylon 5, Battle Star Galactica or Firefly - none of which I have seen yet, but have been meaning to watch eventually.

Oh, and I have to watch GoT one of these days. I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of the books. They were a bit too kill-thirsty for me, but they were well-written and I liked the characters (which is why I didn't like the books because fucker kept killing off my faves ffs!) But yeah, I've been spoiled a few things like a certain wedding and whatnot but whatevs~ XD

If you're into The 100, you might quite like Under the Dome, Liberty.
I tried that one a while ago and while I got pretty far into it, I lost interest around the time they found the minidome. Not sure why, though. I remember things were starting to heat up but I just... stopped.

Same with Sanctuary, Warehouse 13, Heroes and Haven. Something about some of the Syfy (seriously? >.<; ) shows just make me lose interest after a while, even if I like the characters/direction of the plot. >.<;

Wh13 is a really good show... Untill the last season where everything was rushed and ooc. Propably good you got out of that one.

I started watching Pushing Daisies recently. I love it! It's a perfect blend of the fantastical and morbid.

Also I'm dead from the new Steven Universe and Gravity Falls episodes.

(Sadly still in CM hell too. Please help.)

Oh my god that two-parter Steven Universe was great, no joke. The battle song was just fantastic.

I kinda appreciate how killthirsty GoT is, only because I've watched so many shows where I know the characters are never actually going to die even in the most dramatic battles... but then again, I'm not that far in GoT yet. I'll probably be raging by the end.
In the first time ever I am watching X-Files. No, seriously, I have never seen an episode of it. Once. Ever! It just never interested me as a teen and I'm out of good long shows to watch so I'm scraping the barrel (unless someone can rec me some good crime/mystery shows that are drama at times and family/friend grouping? Shows like Leverage, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Cold Case... yeah. Even ones like, oh, Pooirot or Sherlock Holmes? Please I beg you ;.;)
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Crime dramas that don't suck that you didn't already mention, in order from best to un-best:
Elementary
The Mentalist
Gotham
Alcatraz
Bones

Shows that aren't crime dramas, but that you'd almost certainly enjoy if you enjoy those types of shows:
House
Burn Notice
MacGyver
Craze

I am reliving my childhood and working through Red Dwarf. After that, I think I'll watch Ultraman.
I'm watching the four episodes of Corpse Party Tortured Souls.Don't watch it if you're into lolli.....XD
Watching New Getter Robo.

I kind of expected this to be a fan un-favorite when I googled it, but apparently it's actually closer to the original source material than most of the other shows. Fun show either way. Art style is catchy, as is the theme song. I can definitely see how Gurren Lagann was inspired by this. Just too bad that, other than Benkei, they kinda forgot to give their protagonists and other main characters any likable qualities.
Just finished watching an anime - Nobunagun. Honestly, I liked it.

I found it by an AMV on youtube, thought it looked interesting and checked it out despite some comments on the video saying it was shit. I'm glad I looked into it myself because I would have missed a really fun, neat little anime.

Granted, it's not epic or super-amazing. It was never meant to be. In essence it's a light anime about a girl with a gun, shooting the shit out of alien-critter-things. While the animation wasn't the best, and some parts were a bit eh (like the fanservice scenes) the rest of it was really quite good.

The characterisation was the best part - the main character is a teenage school girl (yes, yes, I know what you're thinking) who doesn't fit in. Wait! She is also an otaku when it comes to guns, weaponry, army vehicles and the like. Yeah. And she's also not busty at all and doesn't look like the a-typical cute little waifu. She's a normal girl who has a passion for an odd subject and is seen as odd by her peers because of it.

Then she saves a friend from an alien and the action is amped up to 11.

I really like some of the plot points they put in, like having Florence Nightingale be Jack the Ripper's true identity, and the different designs/powers based on the various historical figures. Oh, I didn't mention that, did I? An alien being harvested the DNA of various figures from our history and carefully cultivated the genetics into various family strains in order to get ready for the aliens who were to attack.

They're not clones, but they can access the... spirits? I guess?... of their ancestors. It's an interesting premise and the way their powers work is also quite interesting in how they match up with the figures of history in question. For example, Ghandi has use of barriers to protect others, while Nobunaga uses big ass guns (that's our main character, shooting the shit out of things~<3 )

And yes, there's a little romance and a bit of fanservice. Some of it is a bit ridiculous, but it never gets too excessive (hey, no shower scenes!), and it's easy enough to move past it and on to the coolness of the show and the battles themselves, which are pretty damn cool.

It's a pity the anime didn't go longer because it was quite an interesting premise all up and could have really gone places, explored more about the whole dealio, but it ended on a bit of a cut-short note, which is sad. It had a lot of promise. Still, it was an interesting jaunt and short at only 13 episodes.

If you want something light and action-based, with cool characters and neat battles, check it out. Just don't go in expecting anything more than cute highschool girl shooting shit with big-ass guns and you'll come out more than satisfied. ^.^)b

Now... back to Ms Marple.
