YOUTUBE LP/REVIEW CHANNEL
Posts
I have recently started a youtube channel titled DragonEye, I'm starting a series of let's play/reviews called Playviews for RPGmaker games, the series will be titled eventually. I have recently put up Starless Umbra and only two parts remain to be uploaded until the series is finished. I have written reviews for games before on this site and I look forward to doing some videos. I currently have somewhere around 30 games I downloaded but I have yet to actually ask a single person here if they mind my covering their games. Let me know if you have a demo or game here and are okay with me playing it for youtube!
That being said I would love to see LP channels aside from NicoB's. Send me some links if you have any!

I would be happy if you try my game out http://rpgmaker.net/games/7249/
Soul_Hacker. Just seeing screenshots on the page makes me instantly know demons are involved. I hate demons. I happen to have DL'ed that one among the 20 or so complete games I grabbed from here. I'm looking forward to playing it but I swear you should have your game making abilities taken away for this. I hate demons.

Don't worry, it focuses more on Satanic rituals rather than demons.
I gots a demo here if you want to check it out. It's only a couple hours long, a fantasy/comedy RPG.
Hm...perhaps you'd be interested in giving my game a try? It's a beta, but runs upwards to 20-30 game hours (50% done storywise). Hasn't been updated in a while though, so there might be some issues here and there like some songs not working right or other miscellaneous bugs or errors that I haven't gotten around to.

Why the hate for demons specifically?
Look...anything that takes over your body and makes you do things that you don't want to do or hurt people you care about is probably the most frightening thing to me. I always grew up learning to do the right thing and while this has even cost me a relationship recently, I'm at least happy. Demons take all that and throw it out the window when they make you rape your family. Uh, uh. Nope. Eff that shit.

Close enough to midnight I guess it's time to finally start...THE ROOM.
(Soul_Hacker, if this kills me let the world know that I don't blame you)
Mind trying out my game's demo? I've recently uploaded a new demo of my game and it would be very helpful to see someone else play through it. The demo is about... 2-3 hours long if I had to make a guess. Maybe a little shorter or longer, depending on your play-style.

So I have The Room done. I have three parts. I had to redo so much though and it bothers me that it crashes my video editing program when I try to encode it. Congratz on getting a raw upload from FRAPS Soul Hacker. Not sure why but every part of that recording is being a jerk and crashing my video editor. I'm going to watch the parts myself and see if they actually came out ok. If not I'll have to redo it. It only took me 30 minutes to play the game at first but all the crashing BS just came out of nowhere.
Milennin I'll try your game out too. Touhou is next though so yours might be uploaded in between those videos.

If you've got a good computer, maybe try your hand at Camtasia Studio. It's what I use and while it's heavy on the system, it allows for recording, editing, rendering (in different file types) and uploading. It's pretty all-in-one and lets you edit sound channels as well as the video (and add in extra videos, do voice narration over the top of said video, add captions, etc)
Also, just a heads-up if you're adding video to the site. We have youtube tags but you have to use a specific link for them to work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQjqHJuLhvc
You want your link to look like that.

Do let me know if you need any help with anything Tyranos. I tried to make the download information as detailed and concise as possible, and hopefully there won't be too many bugs getting in the way. If there are any weird bugs or oddities, please do let me know so I can fix them up for ya. ^^;
Well that's my channel link. However I just realized I can add more media than one at a time. I feel derp now.
EDIT: I had no clue I could combine media submissions. That would have saved me so much time and hassle. I saw that it was possible but was worried about Kentona coming through my window with cheese wire and a baseball bat.

From my games:
If you're looking for a somewhat short (3-7 hours) RPG with a serious story and potentially very challenging combat, you might enjoy Illusions of Loyalty. PS: No body-snatching demons.

If you're looking for a game with a really "out-there" bizarre story that starts off silly and lighthearted but eventually gets dead serious, you might enjoy The End. Although I have to warn you, combat in that game is in a rather rough state and isn't as tightly balanced as Illusions of Loyalty. The End is a bit on the easy can-spam-strong-stuff-a-bit-too-easily-win side. PS: No body snatching demons. The only "demons" in the game are the "grr I am big purple thing with wings that will hulk smash you grrrr" variety, and are just slightly tougher enemies, not important to the plot, really.

If you play any of my games, be sure to link me to the video! :D
I would also recommend any of the World of Arum games by Indrah and Fomar0153 (Dead moon night, Grumpy Knight, In Search of Immotality, The Sunken Spire. In that order). They're usually pretty well designed, and have fun stories and characters. Also, I don't believe there are any body-snatching demons in those games. There ARE demons, but they're merely inhabitants of another world that look weird and act a little different than humans (and most of the demons aren't really evil, most of the time. Several of them are actually good guys, believe it or not), and some can disguise themselves as humans. In fact, outside of ONE game, the villains in most of Indrah and Fomar's games aren't even that nasty, really.

Hmmm. I had a crash about 15 minutes into the game because it couldn't load facesets 1. Also no music works at all. I've been busy all week so I finally got around to trying it out. Sorry for the late replies people. I'll be moving onto We the People next but since that's a demo it likely will be done today leaving me putting up an episode of Illusions of Loyalty.
By the way Oni's line "Yo. Don't mind me barging in here." was hilarious. Now we know how to enter locker rooms, bathrooms, and bedrooms without knocking LOL.
Oh...that issue hurrr....here, I reuploaded the game files (bar music as you should only need the Vanilla music pack anyways):
http://www.mediafire.com/download/rrn69branqg1r6h/Touhou_Fantasy_Update_Patch_1.121.rar
As for the music, is it in a folder called Music and not in any subfolders within the folder?? If it's not, then that's the problem more than likely as I already reuploaded the music prior, so it SHOULD be correct.

I have to say avidemux is not encoding games from XP or VX without crashing. That being said videos will be uploaded VERY slowly. Unless Camtasia can handle it. But so far 2 other programs cannot edit the sound or video either so we will see.
Until then it's SLOW uploads that take around 6 hours a piece or so.
