I need serious help.
Ive been working on a project for a while and all of a sudden I cant pull up my project because it says "Stream Read Error" I have no idea what it means and I don't know how to fix it. would I be out of luck? or is there still a chance to fix it?

My guess is that it can't read a file associated with your project, possibly because it was corrupted. I'd suggest making a copy of your project and replacing its files with files from a working project (ie database, map, graphics files, probably in that order). If you can replace all of the database/map/graphics and still have it show a "Stream Read Error" when you open your project in the editor then I Don't Know.
I once ran into a case that sounds a bit like this. I was mass-copying my (heavily scripted) monster group as a stress-test to see how much space it would end up taking. When I got to a certain amount popped up an error message about not having enough memory to form a stream. Then it kicked out to the map editor, and everything was gone. The map was blank, it had forgotten what tileset it was using, and when I went back into the database editor there was nothing in there either. Fortunately I had made a backup copy before trying this, so I didn't lose anything.
Your case doesn't sound exactly like mine, as you seem to be having trouble just opening your project, but it could have something to do with the project simply becoming too large.
