Hi folks,
I ended up here after doing a google search for rpg maker 95 because I was on a quest for nostalgia or something I guess.
First off, I read the part about this site being founded in 2003.....was there like another rpgmaker.net before that? Or am I just confused?
Second, I was really hoping to find this game that of course I cannot remember the name of right now. I thought it was called crestfallen but I actually found a game for rpg maker 95 by that name and it doesn't appear to be the one that I was thinking of. I guess what I am asking, is there an archive or something for really REALLY old rpg maker 95 games, like from 14-15 years ago? Or does anyone know of any games that were particularly well made with custom tilesets/music etc. for that engine that are really old and where they could be found?
Last but not least, after browsing around I must say that this website is great! It's cool to see that rpg maker is still being used in some form to design games. It's also cool to see that you have many different types of games available, and for free!

At last count there were 2237 games with a download here.
Now, RPG Maker 95 was before my time in the community (I didn't hear about RPG Maker until 2000 (well, I did READ about it once in a Nintendo Power magazine and I was supremely jealous of Japan at the time)), so I am afraid that I can't help track down that game. But others might know of some good ones.
The original triumvirate of Holbert, WIP and Ankylo started the first version of this site back in 2003... though I think there was an even earlier edition...? you'd have to ask holbert if he ever shows up again. I didn't join a RM community (gaming world) until 2004 (and lurked only a year or two before that).
Welcome to RMN, in any event!
