I'm not sure if this goes here or not, first time using the forums. Anyway, my friend wants me to play a game he made, but apparently, windows Vista can't run it or something, has anyone else encountered this problem? I'd like to know if there's a way around it, thanks.
never had a problem running someone's game in vista. are you sure that's the only problem?

if all else fails, try running it in compatability mode.

right click -> properties -> compatability tab -> check "Run this program in combatability mode for XP Service pack 2" -> check "Run program as administrator"

Well I'm the friend he is referring to. Since he is not likely to come back anytime soon, and we'd like to get this cleared up as soon as possible, I'll try to explain what it is he told me he was having a problem with.

Apparently when he clicks to download my game, is not able to do so through normal FireFox. Instead, he must do so through a Torrent. Everything works good from there. But then, when he finally is finally able to access the file, he is brought an error that states something like "There is not enough storage available to complete this command". And that's about it.
Ummm...doesn't sound like a Vista issue, sounds like a memory issue. And why can't he download it through FF? Does he have permission restrictions?
Well, I don't really know what happened, but he seems have got everything straightened away. I don't think he's gonna come back here (he might, but it's a slim chance), so I'm just gonna go ahead and say thanks for the help, people. =D
