It's blue and black ya'll...

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

I originally missed this, and only became aware of this thing when Jacksfilms made a video complaining about humanity becoming obsessed over a dress.
It seems deleting facebook has been the best decision ever.
It appears blue and black to me.

I actually find the whole dress thing pretty interesting. I mean we're all vaguely aware that other peoples perceptions are different than our own but we usually don't pay it any mind. Plus optical illusions are cool.
Yeah, it's kind of interesting! I like seeing people sciencing to find out why exactly it looks different to some people - or rather on some screens. It's not like focusing on mostly trivial things makes it impossible focus on nontrivial things anyway - it's all in good fun!

But it's not scientifically interesting at all, if it works the way I think it does.
I could easily check this if I were on my laptop right now, but:
In the picture, I think the colours of the dress are in fact whitish and goldish.
However, the brains of most of us try to compensate for the terrible lighting in the photograph, leading us to 'see' the actual colours of the dress, blue and black.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Look at the cow print to the left of the dress. Now look at the dress. Now look at the cow print. Now back at the dress.
Sadly, the dress isn't the cow print. But if it stopped using lady-scented laundry detergent and switched to Old SpiceTM, it could smell like the cow print.
Look at the washed-out background. Now look back. Where are you? You're on a boat. With the dress your dress could smell like. What are you wearing? I have it. It's that outfit you love, that I just made you slip right out of. Look again. The outfit is now diamonds.
Anything is possible when your dress smells like a cow print. I'm on a horse.

LockeZ, sometimes I wonder if your job is writing the scripts for French perfume commercials.
I don't find it interesting. I find it obnoxious. It may have been interesting at first. I don't know. I thought it was stupid. There is a detention center in Chicago at Hunon Square where the police make people disappear #gitmo2chicago, and yet this bullshit is what goes viral. There are now wannabe academic articles on why the dress is blue and black. This dress, or rather the people flapping it like a flag, is taking over the fucking internet while the country is falling apart around us. This country deserves to burn, and this dress needs to be on the cover of the fucking history book that gets written about it.
As long as the song makes me famous I am okay with that.
god
i honestly think it's not the same dress >_________>
for many reasons, for instance because black dye is traditionally made from green or red pigmentation, sometimes blue. but never golden or brown since yellow is the lightest color to our eyes.
and yeah, the tone in the photo is blue. but it's the same blue your shirt goes into on a cloudy day with a deep, grayish blue sky. especially on that background. but anyways I won't continue on that >_> I just think this woman bought 2 dresses to troll the internet.
