Has anyone here heard of a Playstaion game called Alundra? I was messing around on the computer and somehow saw a video trailer of it on Youtube. I instantly was flooded with many happy memories playing this game with my granddad some 9 years ago, I can't believe that I forgot all about this game, It's probably one of my favourite games ever! I downloaded the OST and OMG even listening to Inoa Village puts a huge smile on my face.
The game play was so brilliant, many clever puzzles, great ABS and gripping storyline too (Of what I can remember) it was fucking great and very dark themed as the game went on (priest murdering people and shit). It's a true classic. I'm thinking about buying it on the internet today if I can. I might be remembering it wrong, or it brings back good memories of my granddad but this was a fucking legend of a game. I cannot believe I forgot it, makes me feel a little sad. It wasn't very popular but someone here must of heard of it? Let's discuss!

I love this game. I'm currently playing through it on my PSP now.
This game had the best puzzles I've ever seen. I had to look through walkthroughs just to get past some of the parts in the game. The game is also pretty difficult, which I like since Zelda is too easy.
It's sad the game didn't get much attention. The sequel to it sucked, but this one really is one of the best games I've ever played. I personally think the dungeon design is top notch, especially for a game like this. The graphics and gameplay are incredible, and the soundtrack stays in your head for a long time.

This game is awesome. I would have to agree that the music was the best and just made the dungeons and towns that much exciting to explore. The game was pretty hard which i liked and it had a great battle system.
I think i've got to start playing this again soon as it does bring back great memories of playing this.

This was a great game that took me ages to finish. Mainly because I had to keep re-hiring it out. ^.^
It had a pretty good story and cool characters and the battle system was pretty nice, too.
Pity the same couldn't be said for Alundra 2.

This is one of three really cool Zelda clones that I can think of that ended up being better than a majority of Zelda games.
The other two being Landstalker (despite the awkward isometric controls) and Okami.
